Corporate America is primarily allied with the Republican party. Corporate America loves to send factories overseas, and Republicans are highly sympathetic with them, as long as they're talking behind closed doors with no recording devices present. Obviously, Republicans have to whistle a different tune in public, but that's just for theatrics.
It's exactly the same way on illegal immigration. Corporate America loves illegal immigration, because profits. Republicans love to suck Corporate dick in exchange for money, so nothing serious ever gets done about either the immigration issue or the shipping-jobs-overseas issue. But the dick sucking is always done behind closed doors. Republicans have to be careful to hide their dick-sucking preferences when they speak publicly -- that's why this all might be news to you.
Now, that's not to say that the Democrats are a whole lot better than the Republicans in this regard. But the main difference between the parties is that while Democrats merely lick corporate cock and spit out the semen, Republicans enjoy giving them extremely vigorous head and swallowing the load with great enthusiasm.
