I don't think schooling should be free, but it hasn't devalued them in countries where they are free, mi familia
>>
>>67244136
It has. Most degrees in germany are useless and manchilds use the university to study well into their 30s because their is no pressure to do it fast. It's free and students get free shit and lower entry fees all the time. Teens don't grow up anymore.
>>
>>67244327
Do you have a source for that?
>>
>>67244499
You seriously don't need a source for that. It's common sense. If people have more access to something, its worth lessens.

What you don't realize is it is already worthless. He wants to pop the extant bubble of the Degree Economy.

Just take a look at any university here. People start at age 18-19 and still study after reaching 30. Public transportation is free for them, so no car needed and it's party every day. And they can earn up to ~9k a year without paying any taxes. That combined with almost free housing is an easy life and way better than just simple welfare.
On top of that almost everyone is studying nowadays. The market is overflooded with people and they await a less than 2k/month job after finishing university.

Socialism kills!
>>
>>67244619
Classes here are always full and have waiting lists. Making them free wouldn't change that. You need a source.
>>
>>67244676
Most engineering and similar courses are taught in english because 90% of the people are arab immigrants that come here to get their degree.

Wow, that is some good shoppin' right there.

Nobody in most countries will say it out loud, but free education and creating more do-nothing government positions are both just ways to keep people occupied.

Many people need to feed important. Not hugely important, they just don't like feeling useless.

I'm the same way. I have enough money to live for the rest of my life, but I hate sitting around doing nothing, so I look for employment but I usually end up hating the idiots I work with, so I quit again.

It's hard being a human being when you aren't challenged at all by life, which is why people tend to thrive during times of war or natural disasters.

They're already as useless as high school degrees. At this point not having a college degree is equivalent to being a high school dropout in the 70's.

thanks bud!

State schools are already high-school tier, which is the sad part.

How does the German economy even work? Between this shit and the refugee FREE STUFF LMAO shit running over there, I can't fathom how you guys aren't a dicktillion euros in debt.
>>
Why not simply make state schools free but have harder entrance examinations?

This is how they do in pretty much every sane country.

The private schools will then cater to the "retard but rich" demographic and the others will have to pick up some trade or something.

It doesn't matter if classes are full. If it's easier to get for those that in classes, it will depreciate in worth.

>You need a source.
You sound like one of those kids who needs a source for every logical statement and think its reasonable, even if someone's experience supports them.
>>
>>67244791
It's not much different here despite what some greedy students will tell you. I personally opted out for now and everyone thinks it's because fees increased when in reality that makes no discernible difference to most students lives, the repayments are negligible and you don't have to make them until you're earning a decent wage.

Holy shit, how can you be such a wage Cuck that you actively seek employment when you can live your life without it? You can challenge yourself way more on your own than any Boss can challenge you. Back when I was NEET I was learning multiple foreign languages, learning PHP and web design I run a webradio station, studying psychology, leaning about other cultures, delving into game hacking, helping others online learn English in my free time, etc. When I had to give it up to become a wage slave, my motivation and energy levels went to shit, and now all I do is just work at a desk all day shitposting because I don't have the time to do any of that stuff comfortably anymore.

There's no limit to what you can learn or the amount of people you can help. You must have SOME kind of passion outside of work to fuel your motivations. Going to work only hinders your full potential. That's pretty sad desu senpai.

ya, me. lmao.

I joined the comfy air force with the comfiest job possible for the express reason of only serving 3 years then getting to be comfy at college with 100% tuition paid and getting paid $1500/month to go to college. I'm in my 30's. My first degree is paid-off, and now I'm coasting through a second one because it's dude free lmao.

We love to work long and hard. Turk scum lives here since 50 years and only 20% of them are employed. 80% of them leech off welfare. Almost all immigrants leech off welfare. The youth leeches of welfare. It seems that only a handful of us are stupid enough to work and we keep it rolling. But things will go downhill fast once the current generation retires because no money or time is spent on getting replacements. I see it with our new workers. The younger the dumber. Europe will go down with us. Mark my words.

I had a several hour long discussion with my friend about Trump vs Bernie the other day. For the record, I have a partial college education from a community college but discontinued my education when I got a high paying federal career, and my friend is still attending a state school to major in economics and has never had a job in his life.

We started the conversation with me saying that Trump wants to bring jobs into America by making the market more competitive, instead of just outsourcing labor. These low skill, low education jobs are jobs that everyone in the market can get, which brings in jobs and allows room for people to get a leg in the labor force and work their way up. Raising the minimum wage hinders this progress by making it much cheaper to just outsource the labor to cheaper countries.

My friend insists that we should be focusing on creating more college graduates because as a whole, the nation would be better off with more people employed in highly specialized, highly educated jobs. He had no response to the fact that we already have too many people with college degrees, which devalues degrees as a whole, and had absolutely no idea how and no plan to increase the number of highly specialized highly educated jobs.

He then changed the subject to minimum wage. He insisted that nobody should have to struggle while working for minimum wage and I told him that people don't have to. We live in California where compared to all of the 50 states, a dollar doesn't go as far as other less populated states, like in the midwest. He said that it's wrong that someone working for min wage in San Francisco can't afford to support themselves but then I reminded him that it's so expensive to live in SF because the city is dominated by highly specialized, highly educated, high paying jobs which drives up the cost of literally everything.

Fucking Bernie supporters, man.
