Is there anything more blue pill than the big bang theory? It seems like a clear case of brainwashing.
The big bang/atheism is the theory that in the beginning there was nothing, and then nothing magically condensed and exploded, and then all of a sudden the universe as we know it popped into existence. Nothing exploded in order to create everything.
It seems so blatantly obviously false, how can NOTHING exploded to become SOMETHING? It defies all common logic. It's a theory that is completely implausible and your own common sense and mathematics that you should know since a baby tells you that nothing cannot suddenly become something, yet it is widely accepted anyway.
It's an experiment to see how many people they can brainwash into believing something blatantly false without question just because scientists told them so. The Bible explains exactly how the universe was created by Almighty God yet most people shy away from it and give into the jewish brainwashing and believe something clearly false.

What a lame strawman argument. "Nothing" is not part of any theory except religious creation myths that rely on the primordial "nothing except God existed" idea. Obviously there was never "nothing" whatsoever. There wasn't this universe, but there was whatever came before. What came before we can never observe. Whether it was conscious (theism) or unconscious (atheism), there was "something" that was the impetus for this universe to come into existence. Our ideas only really differ on whether the fundamentals of existence are awake or not, rather than all that shit about "nothing" you spat.

The truth is, we don't know yet.
The Big Bang Theory is a tenuous theory for the creation of the universe, but by no means definitive. We don't really know how matter operates at the galactic scale, our models consistently fail to properly model galaxy rotation, and the way the expansion of the universe seems to be accelerating (it really should be decelerating). Either our laws of gravity are all fucked up, or we're missing some sort of subatomic particle, or as yet misunderstood relativistic affect.
We don't really understand how things work at the quantum level yet either. Although we can for the most part explain certain properties of the quantum world, we can't explain them, or predict new ones. It's all just conjecture really.
Our supposedly airtight, rigid understanding of the universe is actually very primitive. Anyone who claims our science is just so tremendously advanced and our understanding of the world is so modern really isn't that knowledgable about the state of science today.
The atheist position is to only assume what we know for sure. And since we don't have any evidence of God, we can't assume He exists, therefore you're crazy to believe in one. Typically these are pseudo-intellectuals who rebel against religion because they find it confining on their behavior (they want to abuse drugs and sleep around).
It is conceivable how complex life arose out of randomness. Evolution, probability, it's a big universe out there. But this kind of thinking leaves one hollow and empty, and really isn't the basis for a functional society, much less an enlightened one.
I think it makes more sense to let your beliefs be guided by the way of thinking that seems to be conducive to life here on earth, and seems to complement the human condition the best. The truth is, we have no idea what's out there. Where we came from, why we're here, are there higher beings above us? We have no fucking idea.
