I came from Russia. in 90s I used to be a 'busyboy' of sort for local 'business'. nothing crazy, but had to drive around wit ha gun. It was not legal for me to have gun, but according to Russia law, I was OK as long as I had a piece of paper on me, on which i wrote: "I have found this gun on this date (today's date), and on delivering it to police", signed and dated. Basically, because any citizen could find a gun, and they supposed to turn it in when they find it, a note like that would allow them not be arrested. The problem was though, i had to MAKE A NOTE LIKE THAT FOR EVERY DAY that I brought gun with me, with new date. I did it for two years before I got into altercation with police and they took away my gun. The note saved me. Is there a law like that in America too?

In America they arrest you for not having a gun.

Not to my knowledge. In my state, if you're carrying a loaded gun in your car and it is accessible then you need to have a concealed pistol license. If not you'll be charged with whatever the charge is for carrying concealed while unlicensed.

It's a pretty good law you guys have in Russia.

In my state the prosecutors would likely use that note as an admission of guilt for unlawful transportation of a firearm and a dozen other charges that are just different names for the same crime.

It's called a gun license. The best part is, is that you don't have to 'renew' it every day or even 'say' that you are going to give up your gun to police, you can just carry a gun. Bad thing is that you need to not have a criminal record. Not hard though if you are good at your 'job'.

I remember a news story in the UK where a guy found a bag of guns some criminals stashed in his own garden and he took the bag down the street to the local police station and he got arrested for technically being in possession of an illegal firearm for the 2 minutes it too him to walk from his house to the police station even though he had probably stopped career criminals from murdering people lmao

If you are in possession of an unregistered gun when the police catch you with it, make sure your anus is well-prepared. The best suggestion I can think of is keep 2 or 3 $100 bills tucked into the gun so that you can offer them to the officer(s) to just look the other way. Cops in the U.S. are ridiculously underpaid and are always looking for a little free dosh. Occasionally you'll run into one who's a bit greedy, so having a few more $100 bills in your back pocket as an insurance policy is advisable.

Also, you're talking America here. Don't carry a shitty little peashooter around. You'll want something in .40 S&W cal or 10 mm mag with extended magazine, like 12 rounds minimum, otherwise you'll be seriously outgunned the first time you're in a situation where you require a gun. Definitely want one, if not two, extra magazines on you for quick reload.

Is that woman naked?

Is that some sort of extra-terrestrial cuck porn?

What shithole are you talking about? I got caught carrying a Beretta 92 in Chicago six years ago and I never even had a court date. CPD saw I had a FOID, no priors, and white skin, all they did was search me and my car, take the gun, and tell me not to do it again.

> Be me
> Have CHL
> Pulled over for no front tag (forgot to put it on after the bolts came loose)
> Have handgun and 2 spare mags in seat next to me
> Cop sees, asks for CHL
> Do so
> Cop and I talk guns for 10 minutes
> No ticket, no warning, nothing.
Texas motherfucker.

Everyone is so on topic. I'd like to hear what it was like in Russia in the 1990s. Do you have any stories?

>can't carry a loaded gun in your own vehicle
isn't there some castle oogabop law about that or only some states?

Just carry a pop tent in the car. When pulled over, deploy tent and jump inside. Now it's a domicile and under completely different laws. Think I'm kidding? Sort of, but when you go camping your tent is your domicile and under the same protections from search and seizure as a house. That includes gun laws. Look it up if you want.
