>tfw USA will be a socialist/communist state in my lifetime

Trump may be able to delay it but I think it's inevitable. Millennials want handouts and think socialism is a cool hip thing that will work this time so feel the bern. Do we have any hope to stop this? Are you ready to fight in the second civil war?
>>
More likely it will be a plutocratic police state. The country is drifting further and further toward concentration of wealth and power in fewer and fewer hands. It's actually going the opposite direction of what you're saying.
>>
>>67205766
So you think it's going to become fascist?
>>
>>67205891
That's how all communists countries end up

Few elite party members with cult of personalities, corrupt bloated bureaucracies, food shortages and rationing, and don't forget your neighbors ratting you out to the secret police for "counter revolutionary" activity
>>
>>67206188
Right, marxism and totalitarianism go hand in hand. I meant the real world version of marxism in OP not the "ideal" version. Do we have any hope to stop this?
>>
>>67206188

You would be surprised how many of those "neighbors" we have right now. I know a few, one works for the FBI, the other works for the CIA - this is just within one neighborhood. The CIA has people on the payroll all over the place. A few extra thousand dollars a month on top of your regular salary, you'd be happy to oblige.
>>
>>67205891
Not really fascism, more like technological plutocracy with a very menacing police state behind the curtains to eliminate undesirables. Basically what has existed in places like El Salvador and Columbia but more technologically advanced or think of the film Demolition Man without the bad acting. People who think it'll be 'socialism' are kidding themselves about where power lies in western countries. They also bizarrely see themselves as being challenged from below from the masses of poor inner city blacks and poor Latinos, and not above. Believe when it comes time to liquidate the superfluous population your white children will be laying right next to some ghetto nigger and some spic border jumper.
>>
>>67205201
I think ill kill myself if that ever happens

Its not unlikely tho
>>
>>67205201

OP is right. Unless something drastic happens in the next 8 years of Trump presidency, it is nothing more than a bandaid for the inevitable. We would have to institute a nationalistic upbringing for the new set of youth, grades k-8, it's our best option.

Otherwise, we are definitely headed towards a communist society. The communists are practically mainstream now, I live in Florida and damn near half the young people I know think communism sounds great. These people will be in positions of power 15-20 years from now with enormous influence. Not only that but some of our top universities are fostering this idiotic SJW behavior - these are the kids with money and the future politicians, business leaders.
>>
>>67207060
Are they poor people?

>>67205201
commieshit never works. It's going to be religious, totalitarian state.
>>
>>67208083
>Nationalistic upbringing
>substituting one set of collectivism for another
Go kill yourself
>>
>>67208083
The young people you talk to will be completely disenfranchised if they haven't been already.
>>
>>67208541

Of course they don't realize that. They are the masses who think they are part of a grassroots movement that will make society better and "help" people. They don't realize they're instrumental to the globalist agenda.

>>67208333

Lots of people right now, like you saw in Chicago, they hate this country. They want to destroy what it stands for. Best way to combat this is make the people love this country again.

The idea of the united states becoming communist is really depressing. If the united states is communist Canada will have to move even further left to maintain our middle class liberal superiority. The country will literally become the Borg but without the ability to assimilate useful things.
>>
>>67205201

Yes, it is the plan. Trump is actually a mean to an end. The ensuing chimp out of his becoming president will see a huge restriction in personal freedoms. You can see it coming. When he hands back to a Socialist after his 1 term in office they will have the structure required for a Socialist police state along with it.

Dark times ahead for the US

That isn't Nationalism

It's scary to see how delusional people are in the states. You do realize socialism is literally social ownership of productive assets and a more equal distribution of life's blessings? You do also realize we in the west are trending in the opposite direction, in most places, social programs are being ripped to shreds and wealth is being more and more concentrated in a very small amount of hands?

We're talking about real life socialism, not the storybook kind.

But I though the CIA were not allowed to operate on US soil. Are you thinking of the FBI?
>>

1. kicking the illegal socialst south americans out
2. getting the millenial socialists so mad they move to canada
3. build a canadian wall and refuse to let anyone across unless they are driving a truck full of oil

we could turn this thing around in less than 4 years probably
>>
>>67205201
Speaking as a socialist, I highly doubt it. Most Americans are still incredibly reactionary and it's the most entrenched capitalist society in the world. "Handouts" are just capitalist concessions to stop unrest.

Do you think in our lifetimes the constitution will be ripped up?

One is CIA, the other FBI. The one that's CIA is paid an additional sum of money. I know he has gone abroad several times as a tourist. I won't say where to. I would imagine he is fully capable of basically ratting out his neighbors to the government like like a commie agent.

>>67212573

I think Bernie will make hate speech a thing. I'm not sure if Hillary will too. I'm willing to bet both of them will try and do something with guns. Not to mention the culture that they'll foster, I mean just look at Obama and the growth of communist ideas since he took office.
>>
>>67212195
Nationalism would be asking them to support "The Country" no matter what the dominant ideology is.
>>
>>67212198
The Soviet model of socialism did have a more equal distribution of life's blessings and state ownership of productive assets though. It was ruled by a technocratic/bureaucratic elite, which is similar to what we have but power is concentrated in the corporate sector in our societies with a revolving door into government. The state is only there only to ensure the right outcomes and that public money flows into the hands of the wealthy. This isn't socialism, except in some bizarro opposite universe.

A communist revolution in the US would be a hilarious failure. I'll enjoy the irony of defending the US from communists, with a gun made by communists in 1974.

You are only looking at the bare minimum surface of the "Generation" You're only grouping the young generation because it seems funny that all of the cater to your political view, not everyone in the age group is a socialist. It only depends on the area that you look in, and even then you can find kids who are on any part of the political spectrum. Since they are still in like sophomore year high school to freshmen of college, and those are the people who are old enough to start caring about political things, but still young enough to not understand. You are only scratching the surface of the "Generation"

Why would that be a bad thing? You cannot claim that capitalism had been without its drawbacks? And with time, it will become something else, like the once-purely socialist nations (USSR, China) are doing.

I truly believe that once first countries become fully automatic they will have to take some sort of socialism.

think about it.
once self driving vehicles become reality and is coming faster than you think there be no more taxi drivers, chofers it will affect all the way form to construction vehicles and so on what the fuck is all this people going to do?

capta pick taxis

I think it'll get to the point where individuals will be so empowered by technology that economies will become largely local again, and large state governments will be made redundant. The main impetus to that end, are the troves of people who only consume and destroy, which is why certain future-oriented power brokers are pushing so hard for a race war in the west, and a major war in the middle east. They're terrified of Jihad Joe or Tyrone being able to 3D print a MANPAD and shoot down a plane, or print out a batch of ebola and pour it in the water supply. The purpose of nearly everything that's going on is to that end, which is why they're so afraid of Trump, he's not part of their plan.
>>
>>67205201
Millenials only want handouts because they were told they deserve it. Prove to them that's wrong, and we won't have the expansion of government into communism.
>>
>>67219296
Obviously not every millennial is a socialist but there is a strong promotion for marxism happening in the world today. Even the private catholic high school I went to promoted or at least tolerated these ideas. I recently graduated from one of the biggest universities in the nation and it is an epicenter of cultural marxism. I've known several people who went in with strong conservative ideals who end up corrupted by the ideas and lifestyles promoted. It is perfectly acceptable to be a complete degenerate in this circle but a person of high virtue and morals is looked down upon or ignored. These institutions are designed to corrupt people. Then somebody like sanders comes around and they flock to him because he is the messiah that furthers their desires.

My point is that the education system is designed to create useful dependent idiots and that like the paper ideals of socialism. Thus creating more socialists.

>>67219515
Communism benefits nobody except the ruling class. Capitalism isn't perfect but it has done more to help poor people than communism ever has or will.
>>
>>67220933
It's just that most of the vocal people that are socialist that happen to be Millenials. Places like where you have been do have a high rate of getting people into that socialist area, but people can reject that like you. But the only way to keep socialism at your standpoint is to keep the minimum of tolerating it, because if its not promoted it can't spread fast.
>>
>>67219515
I'd rather not go through the "kill millions of our own people" stage before we evolve into something else.
