Bernie isn't running on a socialist platform. I have no doubt that he considers himself a socialist, but his policies are already implemented in Europe and are not unusual or uncommon. I think the reason he calls himself a socialist is so that people can't use it to smear him; he kind of wants to "get it out of the way" so that instead of discussing whether he's a socialist or not, people can examine the actual merits of what he proposes.

I've been through government free healthcare called the VA. I currently pay EXTRA to NOT have to rely on the VA for healthcare. I want healthcare to get rid of fixed treatment prices set by insurance companies/government and allow hospitals to become competitive again diminishing Obama care in the process.

Watching what the fed has done to invest in higher education so far to me has been the major cause of raising prices for school in the first place. I'm back in school now, but even when I first went to college I can see a difference. Universities openly practice mediocrity focusing most of their spending on facilities rather than progressing the education of its students. By making higher education free for all it makes the education even more mediocre. Look at universities like Oxford, MIT and Harvard, those places are competitive in being the best places to learn because of the educational competition set up by paying for college and why most other countries schools structured their systems accordingly.

They are super rich and most their profits are made from outsourcing. They don't have national pride and could care less about the US. They will leave the moment it disadvantages them being here and continue selling outsourced products in the US.
