Is there a more badass name than Wolfgang?
>The name is a combination of the Old High German word wulf, meaning "wolf" and gang, meaning "path, journey". Jacob Grimm interpreted the name as that of a hero in front of whom walks the "wolf of victory".
What other badass names are out there? Why is it that only Noah, Keegan, and other limpwristed shit are popular now?
One of my favorite names is Sigmund. I'm going to give all my kids old Germanic bad ass names.
>Thorsten (Thorstein, Torstein, Torsten) is a Scandinavian given name. The Old Norse name was Þórsteinn. It is a compound of the theonym Thor and sten "stone".[1]

That's a pretty nice one. I love Germanic names. They are so strong sounding. Tell us some more, Swedenkun.

Personally, I've always liked Ragnar. It's the kind of name you scream out when you're trying to squeeze out the largest turd your body has ever processed.

Michael is a pretty badass name, from a christian perspective.
>named after the only angel aside from Lucifer who's not a pansy, wields a sword of literal fire and kicks all sorts of ass

Ever heard of the berserker rage? Berserkergang? I remember reading somewhere that the "-gang" part can also translate to "rage, anger" - making Wolfgang "one who rages like a wolf" or "one who, in rage, is like a wolf". Possibly makes it even more badass if it's true.

This doesn't derive from "Frieden" but "Bergfried /Burgfried"

I love the old-school Germanic names, but naming your kid in America one just screams of autism. Same thing with a lot of Greco-Roman names.

>Burgerfried
Nice.

>Me too
Iktf. Sometimes I'm a little mad at my old man for naming me the way he did; his own is basically seven syllables of savage forest fury and I get Magic: the Shekeling.
