I haven't understood the United States military plans for a long time now.
Why do we get involved with these mud people?
As I see it you have two logical choices as a nation.
1. you don't get involved in other peoples wars/issues. If you decide to do this you should not get involved in any way whatsoever. that includes even talking about it (by politicians). its their problem. let them fucking deal with it.
2. You get involved. In which case you should commit totally. It is a war and you are in it to win. you annihilate the enemy utterly and without consideration. you win.
The US seems to have taken up some strange third position though.
3. sort of get involved and drop a few bombs but not enough to actually do any damage while the enemy still grows and gets increasingly fanatic about fucking up even more shit.
why do we do this? The US has the military strength to END isis in a few days if it chose to do so. why doesn't it? these are people with very limited weaponry. what the fuck is going on here? I'm certain out intelligence agencies have a good idea of where every single isis stronghold is. why do we not flatten them?
I just don't get it. If you read any book on war. The Art of War by Sun Tsu, or The Prince by Machiavelli for example, among many, many others. tell us that this strategy we are following is utter shit. You either commit to total victory or you avoid war, no in between. and what is more is that our generals and commanders absolutely MUST know this. those books are required reading for generals for Christs sake.

My theory has always been that we work for Israel's interests in the region because they have some kind of dirt on us.
Ever since the USSR collapsed there has been no reason to take part in "regime change" and play geopolitical chess.

Why don't we just go in there and take over? I mean literally take over. we take all their resources and literally genocide them if there are any rebellions. make it so grotesque that they lose all taste for fighting back. the entire middle east. just completley fucking take it over.
so what if Russia and china are mad? what the hell are they going to do about it? go to war with us? I fucking doubt it.
Besides. why would we want war with them? as far as im concerned us and china and Russia ought to get together and just tag team the middle east.
I don't know why we don't get along with China and Russia anyway. we are all relatively civilized countries that enjoy having western style societies. seems assinine that we would have these little pissing matches over the middle east.
hell. between the three of us we could take over the whole planet lickety split. we ought to look into that. give Africa to china, middle east to russia. america can take over south america. and if anyone else values their countries they will just shut the fuck up about it unless they want to be chopped up as well.
