What kind of music do you guys generally listen to?

Do you keep it politically themed or branch off a bit?

This is my home now after not being able to stomach the leftist SJW shithole that is /mu/, and I'm genuinely interested to know.

I don't listen to music. I'm a-musical and I'm inclined not to like music generally.

Surely you have a favorite composer/artist that you enjoy?
>>
I listen to a lot of things in the punk vein of rock. Proto-punk and whatnot. Glam rock, alt rock, grunge, etc.

Electronic is fine too but I have to be in the mood. I don't mind political music, but it can't be blatant shoehorning (except The Smiths, I love The Smiths).
>>
Traditional jazz, bossa nova and country. But mostly traditional jazz.

>>
>>67121570
I like your style. Proto-punk is good stuff. You're talking like The Stooges/MC5/Velvet Underground type of stuff right?
>>
>>67121700
Yep. Stooges is my shit. I'll be honest, I'll cry like a bitch when Iggy dies.
>>
>>67121770
I thought the same thing when Bowie and Lou Reed died. Good thing Iggy still looks 16 years old from behind and has just as much energy as ever.
>>
>>67120994
There's perhaps one: Patricia Kaas. I have 2 of her cd's.

So what? This Azkhenazi jewish people have the highest IQ is a lie? I knew it!
>>
>>67122351
I was actually pretty big into Radio Werewolf a few years back musically, but Nikolas Schreck bugs the living shit out of me as a person so I guess I'm a little biased.

first things that come to mind which you might not have heard of already:

Orobouros - nice technical metal

Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats - stoner rock-esque beatles / black sabbath hybrid

Macintosh Plus - slowed down elevator music from the 80s

Infected Mushroom - trippy techno

Brown Bird - depressing folk blues with cool lyrics
>>
>>67122619
I saw Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats live at a local shitty dive bar and was actually really disappointed at how bland the performance was.

They're definitely better on the record. That being said I had good company so the show wasn't totally shit.
>>
>>67122439
Yeah, I found them fairly recently. They have a very interesting style and choice of lyrics

There's a really good interview from them by Tom Metzger in their early days you might enjoy if you haven't seen it already.

Ignore the dumb title.

Lynyrd Skynyrd and Stevie Ray Vaughan are the first things that come to mind.
As for genres, blues, bluegrass, classical, really anything that isn't rap or shit pop music

Some good songs here, but I don't like you just because you listen to American Football.

I'll disregard that and call you my nigga because you like Death Grips though.

I saw them in Atlanta (harsh summers) with a sold out crowd. They requested that the air conditioning be turned off to torture the audience basically. Rowdier than any punk rock show I've been to. Got trampled on a few times and threw up from the heat and jumping around with warm vodka sloshing around in my stomach.

80% of people are unable to listen to what I listen. I wish it was 100%

>Rawstyle (sometimes euphoric hardstyle as well. Artists such as; Radical Redemption, Riiho, AVI8, E-Force, Warface, Neilio, D-Sturb, Randal & such)

>Hardcore (Angerfist, Meccano Twins, N-Vitral, Hellsystem, Destructive Tendencies, Tieum, Nosferatu, Art Of Fighters, Tha Playah, Thorax etc...)

>Neurofunk (C-Netik, Current Value, Hedj [rip in piss gr8 man], Gancher & Ruin, Lowroller, Strange Arrival, L33, Neonlight, Proxima...)
>Crossbreed (The Outside Agency, Igneon System, Homeboy, Trebor, Masamune,

>Folk metal (Metsatöll, Tengger Cavalry, 9 Treasures, etc. I also was into Slipknot a good few years ago)
>Punk (R.A.C & Oi! could be considered halfway there)

>Electro Swing (ProleteR, GramatiK, Caravan Palace, Todd Terje sometimes tho it couldnt exactly be considered Electro Swing)

OP here. I'm really surprised, man.

The last thing I suspected was to see Velvet Underground fans on /pol/.

Really just thought you'd all spam Richard Wagner or something.
>>
>>67127805
*expected

I'm fucking drunk.
>>
>>67127880
Actually I think suspected was right.
>>
>>67127880
Proto-punk was music for outsiders in the 70s, and alternative / (not glam) metal was for outsiders in the 80s. No surprise a group of outsiders on the internet like music for outsiders from way back.
>>
>>67127987
Yeah, that's a really good point.

I more so just meant the fact that most proto-punk borrows heavily from the black roots of Rock N' Roll, and you know, the fact that so many of those guys were gay.

I just didn't think I'd see fans of that on /pol/
>>
>>67127803
I specifically listen to Mongol Folk metal while Khanposting with my fellow Finngols.
>>
>>67128269
I'm not gay and don't have any inclination towards homosexuality, but I notice a lot of people here actually like traps and are traps themselves. A lot of people say /pol/ is satire in a tongue-in-cheek way, but I suspect it's closer to the truth than they want it to be.
