>Trump's supporters claim their freedoms of speech and assembly aren't respected by the protesters disrupting their rallies
>Trump's opponents claim their freedoms of speech and assembly aren't respected by his supporters who remove them from his rallies

Help me /pol/, I'm genuinely confused. Not allowing candidates to make speeches is undemocratic, but not allowing people to protest is also undemocratic. Which side is wrong?

this wasn't a protest, this was the equivalent of the pinkertons busting unions and suppressing votes
>>
>>67110946
peaceful protests are fine, and those people in the event are allowed to be removed from the event since it is a private event.

When the protesters are no longer peaceful and are threatening mass violence and then inflicting total chaos and destruction that is when the line is crossed. Learn it, live it.
>>

Threats of violence and actual violence is not protest.

Also, the Trump rallies are private events, they can protest outside.

you can protest all you want, but in spaces that you are allowed.

if you reserved a space for a childrens birthday party you wouldn't want pedophiles coming in, right? well the same law that allows you to remove pedophiles from your reserved space also allows you to remove anyone else from your reserved space.

they can go outside and loot all the stores they want.

1st Amendment only applies to the government's stifling of free speech. It does not grant you the right to go into a private venue, stand up and shout over a person giving a political rally.

So there were too many people who bought tickets but were actually against Trump inside the venue, and instead of trying to remove them all they just said 'fuck it' and cancelled?

OWS is still a thing?
>>

In a private meeting, you're free to chose who's welcome. While it is ilegal to try deny the right to assembly, which is what the protesters yesterday were trying.

I know it's hard to understand for you, beef. There's not much freedom in your 1984 state, you're not used to it.
>>
>>67110946
It's Trump's private event, he has the right to assemble uninterrupted and to remove anyone he wants.

The protesters are allowed to peacefully protest (they weren't peaceful) outside in the appropriate area (they invaded and caused chaos and disorder).

Alright I get it now, cheers

no, there was a mass of bussed in professional troublemakers outside of the event harassing supporters, and many who got into the event itself. There was threats all over social media of people attempting to kill Trump, going to kill legitimate supporters. Those themselves arent a reason to cancel, but when people showed up and began to fight, block traffic, attack police and protesters thats when DT decided that coming to speak might cause more trouble than if he rescheduled. So, since the quasi-rioters didnt have a fixed target for their bile they focused on everyone not them. Police, supports, ambulances, traffic.. everything.

>Thousands

That looks like a few hundred to me. Gross exaggeration.

>this guys gets it.

it isn't illegal to deny the right of assembly on private property though?
>>
Doesn't the US have some sort of right to assemble?

The Left has crossed the line. Sending paid protesters to interrupt the speeches of political opponents is something you only see in the worst socialist/communist/authoritarian shithole countries. They've gone beyond mere thought-policing and censorship and pressure-by-political correctness. They're now actively attempting to disrupt events with paid agitators. The American Left is literally becoming a budding Khymer Rogue.

Watch what happens next. Because this trick worked one single time, they'll try it at all Trump rallies now. Eventually the audience and/or the police will fight back, as they rightly should. The spin will then be
>BOO-HOO TRUMP BROWNSHIRTS END PEACEFUL PROTEST WITH VIOLENCE! ONLY A NAZI COULD SUPPORT TRUMP!

The Left isn't just mere opposition in a different political party, anymore. They're becoming an apparatus, a literal fifth column that Soros can phone up and have disrupt the country.

You'll never see Trump supporters disrupting a Bernie or Hillary event en masse, so there is no comparison between the evil and the intent.

>not allowing people to protest

They were absolutely free to protest outside of the rally.

That wasn't enough for them.
>>
>>67110946
The oppressors of free speech (the protesters) are wrong
>>
>>67111956
Ever since the birth of the socialist left wing they have always ended up doing this.
Every single time.

Why? because core to their ideology is that everyone opposed to them is the devil incarnate, thus justifying any action taken against them.
The left wing is a religion with the state as god and everyone else the devil.

Why do you think the left constantly wants to erode Christianity? because it stops the state becoming god.
>>
>>67111274
Did they actually go into the private venue? Reporting is implying that all the bullshit occurred in public spaces proximal to the rally site.
