Why do people hate Canadians?
Well, if you've never encountered a Canadian before, the experience can be summed up as follows:
Firstly, there is the sound. At first you will mistake the high pitch nasally putrid sound for that of a cat being anally raped with a toilet brush, but as the primitive signs of language begin to appear, you realize it is being made by a human being. I use the word "human" in broadest sense of course. It's no good shutting your windows and doors to try and escape the piercing sound, it penetrates through the walls. Not even ear-muffs can save you from the horror.
Then comes the knock on your door, unnecessary given the constant whiny chatter that has alerted you to their presence. "Ai don't knoaw, ayyyy, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee maybee theres nowbodiii homeay eeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeee?". As you approach your door, your ears begin to throb. You turn the handle, your hand shaking, open the door, and you are greeted with a terrible, terrible sight: The Canadian couple.

What is it like to stare into the face of hell? Well, lets start with the male. Much taller than the female, he has a brown messy beard and moustache, a red beanie branded with a pathetic red leaf, and a large blue raincoat. His green pants are stained and old, and his shoes are covered in dirt and grass. He constantly shifts his head from side to side, as if searching for unopened bottles of maple syrup. His eyes are full of an indescribable madness. He has a strange degenerate grin on her face, like that of a paedophile at a kindergarten. He emits an odor of rotten foliage mixed with sweat, and you gag when it first hits your virgin nostrils. He attempts to greet you "HEYYYYY", but is quickly interrupted by the female standing next to him: "WEARE FROMM CAINIDA, WE WEER WONDWERING ISS tHEre A HOSTEL NEEEEAAAARRR HEEERREEE?". Her voice is unnecessarily loud. So loud that your ears begin to bleed.

While the male looks like a garbage monster, the female looks like some kind of deranged hipster prostitute. Dark rimmed glasses, mouth slightly open revealing large buck teeth, and an unwavering vacant stare. She also sports a beanie, tattooed with a clunky red leaf. She wears a thick, black leather jacket, tiny red shorts, so tiny that some of the monstrous hair from her bush hangs out through the gaps. Her sockless feet are entombed in stained white sneakers. She emits a different smell to the rubbish tip standing next to her. She is coated with a sugary perfume, like an overripe fruit, that is both powerful and unpleasant. Perhaps it is to mimic the syrup in order to attract the male, who knows.
The combined sight, smell, and sound of a Canadian is a truly offending experience. Feeling like you are about to pass out, you send them on their way, and they repay you with a final injection of high pitch "THAAAAEEEEENNNKKKSSS". Trembling, you stagger to the toilet and begin to vomit, and then mop up the blood from your ears. The smell of garbage and rotten fruit lingers outside your door many weeks after the encounter.
If you ever encounter a Canadian, my advice is simple. Get as far away from them as quickly as possible.
