The /pATHoFlIGHT/ ads are back.

the IceCube neutrino lab is located at the amundsen-scott neutrino observatory located at the South Pole.

it is also the home of the Keck observatory.

Why would anyone move to the middle of nowhere during the war only to emerge safe but with no means of getting out? How the fuck are you going to get to an antarctic base with years worth of supplies for all the people there and then get back to useable land. Why not just build a bunker in some flyover state where no bombs would ever touch?
>>
>>67097475

we're not doing this alone

We're not building the base either

we'll deal with "getting out" when the time comes. The powers who be have planned for that too, but first things first.
>>
>>67097400
It's a super secret base even more super secret then /pol/.
>>67097475
Because literally no one would nuke the fucking arctic? Literally no one lives there except for snow Nazis and the Thum. Or some sort of Dharma Initiative station trying to track some sort of mysterious sciency thing that needs to be kept secretive because of reasons or because of weird psychological/scientific experiments.
>>67085629
Where the fuck do I sign up? I'm going to be homeless soon, might as well make myself useful and give myself over to some cult or whatever. Would beat going hungry/cold and having to fight off druggies. Oh, and I already live very far north so I'm more acclimated to cold as fuck weather.
>>
>>67085629
What the fuck is this thing even supposed to do?
>>
>>67097706
Thats the most retarded thing ever. If you dont have a complete plan for escaping the middle of nowhere on an uninhabited continent with no airports then you are going to get stuck. Also, your reasoning for the war starting makes no sense. ISIS is a bunch of dickheads running around in the sand and even if they somehow got a nuke they would be wiped off the face of the earth if they launched it.
>>
>>67097912

keep your eyes on /pol/

patience, for now
>>
>>67098103

first, ISIS is only JV. second, see the "zero hour". it will be a devastating coordinated attack on multiple Western capitals using WMDs

a complete plan is out of the question for us right now. see;

>"We stand on a mountain pass in the midst of whirling snow and blinding mist through which we get glimpses now and then of paths which may be deceptive. If we stand still we shall be frozen to death. If we take the wrong road we shall be dashed to pieces. We do not certainly know whether there is any right one. What must we do? ' Be strong and of a good courage.' Act for the best, hope for the best, and take what comes. . . . If death ends all, we cannot meet death better."

http://educ.jmu.edu//~omearawm/ph101willtobelieve.html

the status quo is not an option in ww3. worst case, you won't have lost anything you weren't going to lose anyway

aim high, you might just make it.
>>
>>67097912
I dont think you understand how powerful nukes actually are. Every nuke in the world could not cover the entire surface area of the US, and in such a nuclear event they would be targeting cities and military bases not empty land. If you really dont think that an underground bunker in the middle of iowa is good enough then im sure some other irrelevant countries have areas that would never get nuked too. Literally anywhere is better than a completely inhospitable continent isolated by the ocean.

>>67098338
I dont know where you are coming up with this you pretty much just pulled that out of your ass. Its not like anyone can just sneak a massive nuclear warhead into a city in their pocket and set it off, and even if it somehow happened the response would be war on isis not war between large nations.

Russia is arming ISIS and other enemies of the West, including with "bomb-grade" nuclear material

Yeah but then you couldn't have your super secret underground facility. Unless your feds. Which I assume they are not given they need to have one in the arctic.

Yes, russians not the russian government may be smuggling uranium. Russia itself has a good economic interest in getting rid of isis and not going to war with all of their oil customers. I see the evidence but its completely irrelevant to the conclusion you came up with. At this point im thinking that your dedication to this shows a bit of mental issues so I doubt I can use reason to show you the way. Just know that Im right, and youll see in a few yeads that when ISIS is gone and the world doesnt end that I was right all along.

>Russia and instability on Europe's southern flank pose serious threats to U.S. and European security interests, the commander of U.S. forces in Europe said today.

>The complex security situation in Europe "has only grown more serious and more complicated" in recent months, said Air Force Gen. Philip M. Breedlove, the Supreme Allied Commander, Europe, and commander of U.S. European Command.

>"Russia and the Assad regime are deliberately weaponizing migration from Syria..."

http://www.defense.gov/News-Article-View/Article/673338/breedlove-russia-instability-threaten-us-european-security-interests

>Russia poses an existential threat to the United States, and to the NATO alliance as a whole. It applies an impressive mixture of all elements of national power to pursue its national objectives, to include regular reminders of its nuclear capabilities. While Russia understands the importance of NATO and its Article 5 commitment, it has embarked on a campaign to corrupt and undermine targeted NATO countries through a strategy of indirect, or “hybrid,” warfare.

>Besides dealing with an aggressive Russia, Europe also faces the challenges of ISIL, managing the flow of migrants, and foreign terrorist fighters from the Levant and Middle East. In my opinion, these new threats emanating from the south and integrating throughout the continent will get worse before they get better.
