ISIS resulted out of US military intervention in Syria
The Taliban/AlQaida resulted out of US military invention in Afghanistan
The resurgence of AlQaida resulted out of US military intervention in Iraq
Iran was thrown from elected democracy into authoritarian regime which then sparked the support for the fundamentalist theocracy that is now in place due to US military intervention in Iran
Egypt was a secular state ( look up Gamal Abdel Nasser) but has become more fundamentalist as US intervention has increased in the US in the last few decades

I get this. Removing all US troops and staying out of the Middle East is necessary. But what do we do about the jihadis who have already formed?
Even if these people grew out of resistance towards Western intervention, they've become much more motivated by ideology, and aren't going to just give up their goals of a caliphate even if the West stops bombing and kill them and their families.
