Why are we hated? I just want free market.
Because Americans think 'liberalism' = American liberalism, i.e. social democracy
Lots of entitled people think they deserve free healthcare and college because they were born in a country with succesful people in it, even though they aren't succesful themselves.

Because you worship free trade and the free market even when it threatens culture and sovereignty. I'd say it's mostly a good ideology, but you are too principled, even when it is completely naive to maintain purity.

I'd describe myself as a moderate classical liberal. I don't have any problems with sound public investment in things like infrastructure and education, though I think we ought to revamp the American education system to inspire reasonable nationalism and foster STEM talent in our nation's youth.

you mean a government dictating what people can do and cant do. Government exists for the sole purpose of "protecting the rights of the people(Natural rights) and promote the public good by the consent of the people." Our current government extends far beyond it.
