What're your thought on Yuri Bezmenov, /pol/? He's been one of my major motivations of red pilling amd also ensured my wake up against liberalism and how its starting to follow the path of communism. Had it not been for him, I wouldn't have been doing research papers on the EU migration crisis and debunking the "Radical Muslim Minority" myth

Check out the bibliography and references, lots of good stuff there.
>>
Hands down one of the best couple of videos to give somebody just getting started trying to figure out what's going on the world.

Whatever you might think of his motivation, he's done an excellent job in teaching the methodology.

This video is essential for every aspiring /pol/lack and "fence sitters"

He's a kike and as such you know he's deceiving one way or the other. That said, it's a great video that explains how der juden conquered the US culturally.
>>
no real defector goes on tv when he is being hunted by the kgb.
>>
>>67022132
He wasn't on TV. One was a G. Edward Griffen videotape interview and the other was a videotaped guest lecture at a university. Only relatively recently were either widespread.

He did, however, work somewhat conspicuously for a Canadian media outlet. I think the fears of KGB hunting people down were greatly exaggerated -- it's really the fear of it that keeps people in line more than anything else. That's the case as well with the current US government. Same thing under the Stasi.

When he was younger. Talks more about his past

Older university lecture. Describes the methodology better.

There are additional segments to the second one including a Q&A session, but I don't know if anybody has stitched them together on YouTube yet. There are A/V sync issues on some of them.

"As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him, even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents and pictures. ...he will refuse to believe it.... That's the tragedy of the situation of demoralization."

Everyone ought to be exposed to his talks
>>
>>67022132
This was never on TV, and got picked up only recently. Some folks even made videos comparing his predictions with the current state of affairs. Moreover the KGB course isn't original by any means, these methods of infiltration are the same across the board. My dad used to be childhood friends with border police, espionage thugs from commie times etc., and I was often present at their conversations when I was younger - they basically talked about the same stuff like it was common knowledge.
>>
>>67020629
Intelligence agents and operatives tends to do a lot of dumb shit and overstate their own importance, especially when they defect to get hold of som gibs medat.

Still, it is interesting and a piece of the puzzle. The comintern is the closest thing we ever had to a worldwide conspiracy.

i have a problem with him including religion there

>>67020629
Exaggerated and unimportant in the grand scheme of things. The people behind the EU/USA aren't KGB spies, they are your own "white" politicians and officers. Grow up.

Certainly not non-existent. In one famous incident, the Soviets held Saigon for about 24 hours, during which time they summarily executed thousands of people based on the careful files they'd kept on everybody -- right down to who said the wrong thing to his barber.

But even that was in many was a psychological operation. That level of total control was simply not practical. They would not have been able to maintain control over their own people had their own people rebelled, let alone every last insignificant escapee.
>>
>>67023186
It isn't saying that religion must be a negative for society. IT is saying that subversive elements use religion as a means to demoralise a population.

The Puritan hypothesis as considered by Rothbard and Moldbug deserves a lot more interest than the Soviet subversion trail, which fails to explain why we would be vulnerable to such a strategy in the first place.

Think about how the leftists are currently trying to use jesus as a weapon. They call him a refugee, claim he would let them in, that he would be a socialist and obama's press secretary tried to quote the bible and failed miserably. The progressives have weaponized religion to use it against the religious.

My thoughts?

Propaganda mouthpiece, being used by globalists as part of his defection deal.

If they Soviets had such an amazing spy and intelligence system, how is it that everything else they did was inefficient, corrupt and led to the eventual economic disaster and collapse that is still modern Russia today, unrecoverable and cucked by China and NATO.

They really didn't. Communism just appealed to intellectuals which influenced popular movements in a bunch of shitty countries around the world. It sold itself to people struggling out of poverty.

Look at every country that fell to the reds, absolute shit holes. There were socialist and communist movements everywhere, it was a worldwide spread of a new idea. People wanted to believe in a utopia and no more wars.

It turned out that communism was far worse for the people that democracy because under communism the common person died, even if democracy kept you poor, your government wouldn't kill you. Well that ended that little caper, and ever since Nixon and Deng paved the road for China in the 70s nobody has bothered looking back.

Really not sure what is happening in Europe, I guess the Jews are burning it all top down and bottom up.

It's actually both, one leaders uses the other country as an example and vice-versa. The populations are too ignorant to know the truth, anyway.
>>
>>67023246
I know they're not KGB spies. I do know that they're using their methods to gain political power, and influence among the common man for their own agendas. Merkel is one sore thumb sticking out. Obama is another one, especially his actions in Syria
>>
>>67025401
Kind of like how one day Hitler is a great visionary and the US should emulate fascism, and then the next day we have to go to war to free Europe from the evil Hitler.

Or how one day "Uncle Joe" Stalin is a great man who helped us defeat Hitler, and then the next day COMMUNISM IS GOING TO LITERALLY TAKE OVER THE WORLD IF WE DON'T GO TO WAR RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

Or one day Osama bin Laden is the golden boy who defeated the USSR and the next day he masterminded 9/11 and we need an endless War on Terror to put a stop to him.
>>
>>67025662
We should have destroyed the Soviets right after WWII. Their logistics a nightmare and their remaining main forces were in Czechoslovakia, Poland, and Berlin. Not to mention a shambles economy from the bombings the Germans gave them
>>
>>67025654
Exactly! Obama and Merkel are just BELIEVERS in this cause, it doesn't mean they're spies or anything sinister like that. But yes, they're using socialist tactics, but they could also use other ones.
>>
>>67025005
We started out as a semi-absolute monarchy. Before the American missionaries arrived in significant numbers during the latter half of the 19th century, parliamentarian was regarded as folly. We still use the expression "polish parliament" which used to be a general disdain for parliamentarianism in opposition to royal absolutism, now it just means chaotic government and it is a reference to the polish constitution which prevented Poland to act when needed to defend itself from enemies.

Then these guys founded non-state sanctioned congressions who lobbyied for universal suffrage and to ban alcohol. If we go back a hundred years, practically all our radical leftists were teetotalers.
>>
>>67027259
We got our constitutional alcohol ban from progressives as well. They also modified the process by which our Senators are elected so that they are popularly elected rather than appointed by the State, thereby removing an important check and balance from our form of government, shifting us further toward a chaotic democracy with a totalitarian nightmare ruling over it.

Truly evil done in the name of good.
>>
>>67027588
The lesson is that suffrage is retarded and checks and balances can't work, because sovereignty cannot be divided, only moved.

In the post FDR U.S, it is the civil service that is holding sovereignty by the mandate of the supreme court.

See Moldbug's open letter to Ron Paul supporters.
>>
>>67023246
>The people behind the EU/USA aren't KGB spies, they are your own "white" politicians and officers. Grow up.
That isn't the point.
The KGB isn't a group of "Pupper Masters" even according to Yuri.
The USSR/KGB was only trying to support the people that allied with their beliefs and expand their network of influence through the manipulation of "useful idiots".

For exemple, take Bernie.
Was he directly contacted by the KGB? Probably not.
Was he influenced by Soviet/Communist/Socialist propaganda and ideology?
Surely. If you are expossed to propaganda in university through others that were also influenced by propaganda, you would see socialism/communism as something good. That's why Bernie gave his support during youth to the Castros and other revolutionaries.

And now Bernie has a small but existing chance that he would be the President of the USA, spreading his beliefs to the public, and proceeding with the demoralization process.
>>
>>67028031
Well, if I were to respond to that then this would turn into a very long debate that I don't have time for. But I'll say three quick things:

1. I agree with Moldbug's letter, by and large, and I think it supports my ultimate point of view at least as much as yours.
2. Dividing sovereignty is useful at least to the extent that we have two different countries and each of us can try a form of government that we believe suits us best.
3. >>67028471 has it right: the cultural psychology of the people is a fundamental basis for how a people can and will govern itself.
>>
>>67029637
I think the issues we disagree upon are merely details in the greater scheme of things.
>>
>>67029825
That's often the way things go. Oh well, no harm in bumping for Based Yuri again.
