Another untrue attack. He didn't duck military service 5 times. He got a student deferrment (like thousands of over college students at that time). He then passed a physical only to subsequently fail a physical and given a classification that did NOT keep him from being drafted, but put him low on the list.
His number was 356, and the draft simply never got that high. He didn't dodge anything. He submitted to all the paperwork and physical tests necessary, and simply wasn't called up.
There's no reason to believe any conspiracies, but that never stops anyone desperate to prove an ignorant viewpoint.
