Is capitalism dehumanizing?
>>
>>67010247
We live in a society we aren't fucking animals. If you aren't productive and contributing to the society you need to fuck off
>>
>>67010380

this, Op.
>>
>>67010247
No but being forced to pay to take care of a bunch of fucking vermin is dehumanizing.

I would fuck off if the government would let me. But no, I have "contribute to society" and pay my taxes so dumb niggers can continue to nog.

No. People are inherently worthless unless they can produce.

if you dont like society then please leave.
>>
>>67010247
This childish mentality is why our welfare state keeps growing and growing.
>>
>>67010380
Fuck off where exactly? Even if you live innawoods they still expect you to pay your taxes.
>>
>>67010924
You seem to have mistaken us for liberals. If we don't like society, we don't flee to Canada or cry to the government, we fight it.
>>
>>67010924
Even if I left I would still be paying taxes you tremendous faggot.
>>
Capitalism is just a set of rules. You are always free to start your own community and add more rules if you like.

The only valid argument against capitalism is deregulation. Anything else is Bullshit whining.
>>
>>67010247
so is socialism. in fact, socialism is even more dehumanizing, since it puts more emphasis on working like a robot, a cog in a machine, and much less on personal freedom and happiness. everything is done for the state that you're just a small piece of, unable to think for yourself.

at least regular marxist leninist socialism. everyone has jobs, because those who don't are forced to get them or purged.
>>
>>67011365
fuck off into the ground, or prison, or something

people are not obligated to society to be useful. however, society is not obligated to help useless people.
>>
>>67010247
Is not capitalism, dummy.

It is MONEY
>>
>>67011874
People who want nothing from 'society' are still expected to contribute.

clearly the government needs to implement assisted suicide. how else does one opt out of their system?

hard mode: remember seperation of church and state

>>67010247
Capitalism is merely the extended hand of nature.

It's selection through monetary success.

If you think nature is dehumanizing then I capitalism is too.
>>
>>67010247
literally everything other than tribalism is dehumanizing or results in it

Are the legitimately disabled or otherwise unfortunate subject to this idea too?
>>

What the fuck are you even asking?

>buy land
>farm
>raise livestock
>collect water as needed
>generate your own electricity. Or don't, whatever man
But no that's illegal. Big Brother needs you to be a good goy and pay him taxes.

replace productivity with consumption and you may be getting somewhere
>>
>>67010247
No. Capitalism is the most humane system in history. Its core principle is that anyone, regardless of the circumstances of their birth, can become successful is they work hard enough, and have good ideas. Yes, it's unequal, but only in outcome, not in means.
>>
>>67012633
>What the fuck are you even asking?
I think you just answered your own question. Living free and independent of the government is not a possible choice. The only "opt out" option is death. The government should be responsible for carrying this out humanely.
>>
>>67012633
What the fuck is wrong with taxes? A small payment to the government from every person is needed isn't it? Don't they pay for roads, public services, etc.?
>>
>>67010247
Being tested by the fires of reality and allowed to succeed or fail is what originally humanized us from the dust over eons.

Divorce from that would be dehumanizing indeed.

However the modern world, the environment we make for ourselves, is largely pollution. Perhaps this is true ever since the advent of farming.

We are like male Australian Jewel Beetles who would rather hump discarded orange beer bottles than the females of their species. And that while ants bite off their testicles.
>>
>>67013249
I have no idea why you're even replying to me. My first post clearly says I would fuck off if the government would let me. Then you go and try to argue that it's illegal to fuck off, something I've already acknowledged in the first post.
>>

socialism is.

The strongest indicator of a person's morality is if they grow up in a capitalist market society

>>
>>67013082
I would agree but I believe the point is simply that men are worth more than their material output, or as the post above you noted is so prevalent instead in the modern day, their intake. On it's own, capitalism is a good idea, but insufficient to maintain good qualities in a man. The system can reward liars and thieves just as well as those who work hard if they are good enough at it. Broadly speaking it rewards skill, even when the skill is sometimes at the expense of others. A purely capitalistic society may reward the man who can sell the most addictive substance, for example; even while it undermines society at large, he benefits. As pic related state, it shares with communism a crushing materialism which doesn't accurately describe what a single man is, let alone describe how many men should interact.

Yes, but being human is less fun than all the shit you can spend all the money you make as a head-vice-insert more useless adjectives here-assistant-director in charge of marketing data analytics

>A small payment to the government from every person is needed isn't it?
Nice try Goldberg Shekelsteinowitz

>Don't they pay for roads, public services, etc.?
I clearly outlined a scenario in which I wouldn't be using any of those public infrastructure or services. I'd just be out minding my own business.
>>
Do people not realize that Communism brands every human being as a worker? You literally are only known for your production in communism, however you aren't acknowledged for it as that would be self acknowledgement and against the true tenants of Communism. Every communism is a self hating, talentless hack that believes that instead of working for their goals, they should just be able to magically have them. I know this because it's all I thought about in high school and was branded as a Marxist by my teachers.

Nope. I find capitalism dehumanizing, and therefore I am not productive and contributing to society. Clearly I need to find a way to fuck off.
>>
>>67013996
I'm not Jewish and I was asking.
>not using those services
Okay so you don't pay taxes because you'll never use a public road. If you don't use it I guess that's fine.
>>
>>67010247
Where does this inherent worth come from? How is it quantified or qualified?
>>
>>67014297
If I can be perfectly honest, I wouldn't like doing what I outlined and would still live my comfy life and am 100% okay with paying taxes for infrastructure and roads and shit we all use.

It's when they tax me to pay for Taniqua and Juanita to shit out another kid they can't afford is where I start getting pissed off. I have to pay for other people's poor decision making? Fucking bullshit.

typical socialism accusing everyone else of what they are doing

Yes. Humans are the only species that waste resources on the disabled. Animals leave the unhealthy to die

>worth more than their output

According to whom? Themselves? Their family and friends? To a stranger? You have no worth. You arr one in seven billion, you are not special. The heavens doesn't open up and weep for you. You might sentimental value to family but to a stranget you are worth shit. I certainly don't care for you. Espcially since you stand in the way of my values and beliefs

>not understanding man on a metaphysical level
What do you think you are? Look at the world outside earth and your own, self-admittedly inconsequential life and tell me mankind isn't special in some way. I'm not saying we all have some special destiny or are cared for by the universe or even that we are created equal (the most laughable proposition still put forward); I'm saying we're more than some arrangement of particles, which is more than one can say for practically everything around us. I'm saying there is a certain dignity inherent to being human that is neglected by your values and beliefs. "[M]aterialism is the philosophy of the subject who forgets to take account of himself".
