Most are romanized vlachs

About 15% I would say are mixed "romans"(most of them in south but gererally southern people are very mixed since there were turk & other invasions/influences)
then hungarians ( who are either magyars or ethnic romanians (genetically speaking) but culturally different ) - about ~7%
then gyppos (3.3% registered in 2011, i would say there are less, about 3% since many left but you could argue they are back to 3.5% since some are not registered)
& some others people don't know about ( turks & tatars are very common in southern dobrogea since it used to be a bulgarian land)

the genetic studies from Romania were made only in Bucharest and Dobruja, aka the swarthy HQ.
In Dobruja most are not even romanians, but heavely mixed with balkanites/turks etc
same for Bucharest
See that in East and North of Romania, I2a is over 50%
