here's my hint for getting rid of the accent - don't try to get rid of it, it's really hard, simply pick up a different accent (not the english or american ones, they're some hard ones to start with, sth like irish or scottish is much easier), i have a bass voice so it's fucked up anyway, (even though people can't tell i'm Polish) but you might be able to fake most of the accents if you're a tenor and not a loser like me :/
