I'm 25, so too young to remember him. Looks like his campaign was giving a lot of warnings about cultural rot, illegal immigration, bad trade deals, etc. They were just warnings back then, but now they've all come to pass and people flock to Trump.

I agree with Pat Buchanan more than anyone else on American politics. Pretty much everything he says sounds reasonable/right.
He's a smart old guy and knows the time. Der Juden think he's Hitler and have banished him from the MSM, so you know he's doing something right. He's also sort of a Jesuit/Catholic Crusader-type who fetishizes abortion, which I personally don't care for, but will overlook as long as he remains based about pretty much everything else.

I can't agree more. Buchanan is my favorite currently-living American political figure. A close second would be Ron Paul, and pretty much everyone after that is garbage in comparison.

Abortion is literally murder of the innocent if you're a Christian. The only reason a serious Christian or even someone that believe fetuses have human rights would approve of abortion would be if the mother's life were at serious risk. Any other scenario is an elective abortion and morally reprehensible. If you don't want the kid, use protection. If you don't do that, adoption is the answer.

He's an asshole. I think it was in 1992 campaign the fire was starting to rise and David Duke was running for president and gaining some traction. They brought in this clown who talked like a nationalist and said all the right things. My sense is that Christians dislike abortion because it offends notions they have about their god being in charge of everyone's destiny-- the same reason they oppose euthanasia. Suffering isn't what bothers them (one might argue that they love suffering): what they care about is defending the fantasy that their god is in charge of Life and Death. Christians are clearly fine with murder if they've decided Jesus approves of the target. Moreover, Christians believe the fantasy that anyone, however worthless, can be shaped to be something good and valuable, which is why they adopt black kids into their White families and indulge in all sorts of ridiculously naive, culture-destroying behaviors and delusions.
I don't like abortion. It is ugly. I wouldn't want to perform one or have someone I know have to have one. It's also a social necessity in our current reality.

Probably depends on what happens with this election, but it's a real possibility. Nationalism (probably under a different name because muh connotations) is a lot more appealing to people than conservatism right now
