Why hasn't Bernie been able to pull off the same trick as Trump? Is he too afraid to attack women and/or democrats? In a debate, one of the questions asked what would happen if Hillary got indicted, now Hillary just dismissed the question saying it would never happen. But they asked it again and Bernie immediately tried to change the subject to other things like economy and stuff, so Hillary immediately changed the subject to match.

I would agree if Sanders was actually a Democrat, but since he's not he has to be more careful with his tone. People don't like it when an outsider comes in and criticizes their leaders.
He can't just outright attack her, he needs to be subtle and let people figure out on their own whether or not he is the better candidate.
