He NEEDS this. If he doesn't get Ohio he can still be upset.
All roads will lead to a brokered convention.

The only thing standing between him and victory is this warbly voiced also-ran John Kasich. This rent-seeking loser who has no chance of winning, but is hoping to carry the establishment's water by denying Trump in the hope of a political payoff in the form of a cabinet position or what have you.

Can meme magic make this happen?
>>
I just have to wonder if the voters there can see how much the establishment is using them.
>>

>All roads will lead to a brokered convention.

Not necessarily. Winning Ohio would more-or-less lock him as the nominee, but he can still score enough delegates without it (although it's gonna be rough).

Remember when all them states where hillary yeahh...

Trums winning this one bub.
>>
Ohiofag here. Voting for trump along with the wife.
>>
>>66877691
No, the average voter is stupid.
Kasich will drop out after Ohio regardless of the results, and none of his supporters will understand why.
>>
>>66877573

You people are so retarded, he has no chance against Hillary(or possibly Bernie after that MI upset) in the generals, just look at the polls
I used to like Trump, but he is a fucking retard with no specific policies or solutions that is going to get destroyed in a one on one debate with whoever wins the dem nom
You fools should be praying for a brokered convention, that way Rubio or Kasich can be chosen and they wipe the floor with Hillary in every generals poll, then we get Scalia replaced, Ginsberg replaced, Clarence replaced with pro 2nd/1st amendment socially conservative justices
If Trump wins, dems will literally take back the house and senate as their turnout will be huge(and if you didn't know, people basically tick all democrat/republican in house senate races during their vote for pres)

I hate how retarded /pol/ is sometimes, you are all a bunch of children

No one responds to your post seriously because you're obviously a moron.

Everyone I know in Ohio is either voting Trump or Bernie.

I'm convinced Kasich supporters don't really exist and it's all a giant conspiracy.
>>
Ohio here. Voting for trump. Also have my Mexican Gardner bringing his entire family to vote for trump for $50 a head. Making them selfie with the ballot before they get the cash.
>>
>>66879298
Factual error?
How about the fact that Trump got almost as many votes as Hillary did in Michigan while competing against 3, not 1.
Hoe about thanks to the new people Trump is bringing into the party there were more Republican voters in Michigan than Democrats.

The same can be said about NH, and NV. all purple states.

How about the fact that even the anti Trump pundits agree that Trump could take the industrial north east states.

How about the fact that nation wide polls are pretty much meaningless this early before the elections or even the nomination. If they are ever really relevant at all.

Should I also add that Cruz and Rubio are doing better in these polls because the media is coddling them and giving them favorable coverage as long as they are the anti Trump. But when it would be Cruz/Rubio vs the dems they would get crucified by the media.

I mean Cruz has the support and appeared on the same stage with a pastor, that moments earler was CALLING FOR THE EXECUTION OF ALL GAYS.

And this has never hit the MSM, because it would help Trump... but just wait for the general.
And I can go on with such examples.

I swear, you people are in for a hard awakening, harder than Romney(I doubt either of you children were here during 2012)
I'd also appreciate an apology

Good post, we truly need someone who will ensure American Leadership in the world
t. neocon
>>
>>66878952
If Trump has no chance against Hillary, then neither does any of the other republican candidates. So what would you want the american people do to? Skip the whole voting proccess and just elect Hillary by default? I bet you'd love that, my nervous potato friend.
>>
>>66879719
>being so dumb as to think general election polling in FUCKING MARCH matters

Sorry but that other anon was right. You're either dumb or hopelessly ignorant of American politics.

>Protip: Romney was beating Obongo in the 2012 polling by more than Trump is losing to Hillary
>>
>>66879719
These polls mean nothing you retard. The republican candidates who no one seems to want and have the least voting support all magically do best against Hillary. No republican can be elected if the GOP steals the nomination from Trump because Trump supporters will not vote for Kasich or Rubio.
>>
>>66878952
He will beat Clinton. The more everyone gets exposed to her the more everyone hates her. She can barely beat the socialist jew for god sakes
>>

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/us/general_election_romney_vs_obama-1171.html

That's not true, Romney was NEVER beating Obama in the polls, even this early on when both candidates were all but picked.
I was here before and during the election, everyone was saying the polls were bullshit and couldn't be trusted, up until the last second
Then Obama won and /pol/ literally went silent for about 3-4 days as everybody lay in bed with their tail between their legs, then casually went back to happeding posts as if nothing has ever happened
It's going to be the exact same this time, someone with a favourabilty rating as low as Trump has NEVER won the presidency before, dems have the demographical advantage, and they only lose when their is a low turnout, Trump will ensure a high turnout(the polls don't factor that btw) so if anything, Trump will lose by even more than the polls claim

I'm screen-capping posts for November anyways.

And that's a day before the elections there... We have more than half a year before the GE.

I've learned that us Europeans will never understand the US and their people. All this shit you say about Trump vs. Hillary have been said for almost a year about Trump vs. Jeb(!), Trump vs. Rubio and so on. Just shut up and enjoy the show when it comes to US politics.
>>
Well I used to support Trump but now it is clear Cruz is the best choice.

I'm a CruzMissle now.
>>
Not really

Don't get me wrong, a win in Florida and Ohio is pretty much a dagger three point shot

With that being said, he has about a 35 delegate lead on his scheduled pace, losing Ohio wouldn't set him back as he's about to clean house in Illinios and North Carolina

Missouri will be big in protecting him from an Ohio loss of it happens

The good news is kashich is not a threat and he's the only one who can win it. Luckily for for us, Ted CRUZ is still trying to compete for votes

All and all, the path to 1237 is still doable in the situation we lose Ohio.

Regardless, the point is the beat the field handedly, it makes our position stronger at the convention

Why do i want to support either side of this corrupt establishment anymore? Because my side has a few inconsequential views i agree with?

Fuck that. Its Trump or bust - if he aint the nom, then im voting independent if at all, and i know and convinced many others to do the same.
>>
>>66880664

This

I've got an excel sheet that tracks his pace

He needs to go about 104% over target from here out if he loses Ohio

(he's at 107% this far, and that's with Rubio and kasich sucking up delegates)

We fine
>>
>>66880641
... because he's paid to
>>
538's polls-only model has Trump ahead of Kasich in Ohio.

Two polls out yesterday - CNN and Quinipiac - have Trump up six in Ohio.
>>
>>66881332
He's the sitting governor. He's got the massive advantage, even if he's slightly down in the polls.

Trump was up big in Kansas too
>>
I got a feeling in my balls that Trumps going to drop some bombshells today at the debate and make up for his last couple of poor performances. He knows this make or break time in states like Ohio, North Carolina and Missouri so he's been saving the cards up his sleeve
>>
>>66881405

Kansas was a fucking caucus, you can't compare polling of an open primary to a caucus.
>>
Ohio is a long shot but the good news is flordia is locked and trump is preforming above expectations. I wouldn't hit the panic button if old gil wins ohio.
>>
>>66882016
florida
>>
>>66881858
Here's an example of the "advantage" I was talking about
>http://ymlp.com/zwiZI0

When you have access to the power structure, you can tip the board in your favor in all sorts of ways. Including denying millions of Republicans their votes to ensure a Kasich victory.
>>
Better Kasich win Ohio than Cruz or Rubio anyway, as he's completely irrelevant.
>>
>>66878952
>just look at the polls

Like the dem michigan primary? Where Hillary was up by 25 fucking points and lost?
>>
At least we will know that the people of Ohio are confirmed as retards for voting Kasich. At this stage a vote for Kasich is a vote for Jewish tricks at the GOP convention. Its literally impossible for Kasich to win.
>>
>>66877573
>rent-seeking

Anyone know the origin of this term? I know what it means, but I don't see why.
>>
>>66880794
he's right though, no one that scores so lowly on favoribility has ever won the presidency, that's more than just Romney that's how the system fucking works, it's been true since we started keeping track
>>
>>66882174
And the undecideds will very likely go for kasich in large numbers.

>>
>>66879176
What's funny is they are so blatantly obvious about it that it's most of the time easy to point out. They just do it so much I feel as if the board just generally ignores it by now.

You hear that faggots? The only thing you are accomplishing is making me hate this place a little bit more than usual. Get the fuck out and just let us rot in peace for fuck's sake
>>
ASSUMING TRUMP DOES NOT WIN CALIFORNIA:

If Trump wins Florida and Ohio, he has the nomination almost wrapped up.

If he wins one and loses one, it will be a very close shave, and every state will become relevant in the race.

If he loses both, he will need to win California.

>>66879678
