The DNC already made a deal with her back in 2008 that she would get the nod in 2016. But they couldn't just have her run against nobody so they picked this really fucking old dude with nothing to lose who's going to retire anyway and set him up to "run against" Hillary. I have no doubt that ever dollar that's been donated to Sanders' campaign is simply being saved to spend during the general election.
