Come out of college with $35k/year job live slightly above old ways and pay $10+k in loans a year. Have loans paid in as loans paid in 4-6 years.

Its just kids never being taught to live within or a little under their means. They get a little money or a loan and they blow the money at the moment instead of saving it to have a more comfortable life later on.

I dunno man. I went to a shitty in-state school for undergrad with a few scholarships so I was only about 20k in debt for the whole thing. Now the military is paying for my grad degree and I'll owe them 4 years of service when I'm done, during which I'll have full salary/benefits. Student loan debt is just a meme to me, I keep hearing about it but I don't know why I should care.
