My father is a vet, and Before that he was thinking of being a priest. He would read the Bible to my brother's. But he just left me since I was the last. Ever since then he has been tolerant of religions but he's seen what "faith" can do to people, in middle East I mean.

Non religious myself. Fiance is very religious. When we were teens we often fought about what the role of religion be in our kids life. We aren't teens anymore. I've decided to let my kids grow up believing what mom tells them about religion.
Although Christan values are the same as atheist values, Christians go about practicing those values in a more meaningful way. Fuck it. Let the kids believe in fairy tales growing up I've conceded. If my kids grow to have any intelligence whatsoever they will surely drop religion in time.
