Sure, driving and Independence are important and we want them to get out there joining the workforce, but when auto accidents are the number one killers of teenagers, don't you think that the average 16 year old is not mature enough to have that sort of responsibility?
If we deem not mature enough to smoke, join the military, vote, be nude on film, and decide who they can and cannot fuck (you can sit there and say AoC is 16 in your state, but go ahead and try to fuck a 16 year old girl when you're 30 and see what happens), why are they mature enough to drive?
