It seems like the EU is good because the European countries will slowly unite under a common language (English perhaps?) and work together to achieve the goals of humanity. Instead of being a nationalist for your country, you can be a humanist. Instead of fighting over who is superior, you can unite.

It was created with the intent of joining small European countries together to have more leverage in international trade and benefit from each other.
The group has metastasized into a governmental body that challenges the sovereignty of less powerful nation-states.
It's beneficial for countries like Greece, Poortugal, and Italy to join because they have no fucking money, but countries such as Finland have to pay the former all kinds of shit that is basically throwing money away, and if any poor countries become successful then they start getting reamed by the others.
Basically it's no longer beneficial for anyone except Germany, but if one country pulls out then the whole thing collapses so nobody's allowed to leave, either. Like the Muslims they offer harbor, Europoors stone apostates to death. This is why Brexit, Holland, etc will vote no.

Imagine the Usa, but every state has its own seperate, long history, with lots of different cultures, some incompatible with others. Now imagine Washington telling every state to do as they say.
