From what I can tell a mod through a hissyfit and said he was going to ban hammer anyone who used the word jew regardless of context because he was pissed off at how much moderating he had to do (for zero compensation) and wanted to crackdown on the word because in his reddit-ruled, hotpocket filled, completely unaware of the consequences mind he thought that would help his situation somehow.
