There is no evidence that black people are shot by police at a rate disproportionate to their encounter rate. In fact, all lines of evidence suggest exactly the opposite, people in general, especially police, hesitate more, take more time to think, and make better decisions when faced with a black suspect.

I saw that thread too last week. A couple boards on 4chan get most of their traffic from bots and reply bots...basically they're just clever bot systems talking to each other. You'll see lots of repeats on /pol/ and start to notice them more and more.
Thread ids can help because you'll see people really aren't having discussions a lot of the time.
My theory is this dates back to shekel shoah stuff. Not that gawker is behind this but rather people realized the influence a lot of the boards on here can have in the world outside of the Internet.
Most of this stuff is harmless bullshit, which is just to keep real discussions going. Also, notice if a legit or potentially risky thread is started there will often be an image a few posts in like 'roll for your nigger/jew/etc name. That pretty much ends discussions.
This is a big reason why pol was one of the most interesting boards 2013 and 2014 and basically had an immediate drop off in quality.
Most of the other boards are safe because they deal with hobbies and a cleverbot like program can't bullshit (yet) when it comes to talking about almost insignificant details of hobbies like us autists do.
