why would marco blow up his own political career when he is only 44 yrs old, he can run again in 4,8yrs without trump and most likely win, but he is willing to end his political career to try and bring down trump.

They are sacrificing Rubio to try to take down Trump so that he can be beaten by Rato. It's not going to work since Trump has already soundly beaten Rato in his best states. We are now going into the strong Trump states with most of them being winner take all primaries. It really couldn't be set up better for Trump.

Rubio/Kasich can both theoretically win by going to a contested convention and being the establishment choice. Rato has to win by getting 1237 delegates - no easy feat with Trump's current advantage.
