Nobody really knows. He's been seen crawling around naked in the sewers.

Wisconsin friend here.

He ran out of money, FAST. He was actually super high in the polls before the race rally started. Then there were the first two debates, and no one payed any attention to him. He all of a sudden started playing me too to trump, and talking about immigration.

This was retarded because he has never in his political career in Wisconsin ever said anything about immigration one way or another. His strength is that he busted our corrupt Union machine and made VAST reforms to Wisconsin government. Our state is mostly liberal historically and had a big dent and deficit.

Tl;dr

He didn't play to his strength and came off as a phony also ran. Koch pulled the plug before they spent too much.

Who's that guy?

Autocorrect got me. You can probably figure it out.

Apparently he's a singer-songwriter. Who knew?
>>

He walked away...

He's my governor.

Dude blew his war chest right out the gate, and because he was too busy focusing on state-based issues as his platform vs. being big-picture, he got the high hat and was rushed out before anyone else.

He actually was a decent candidate in many ways, totally BTFO'd the public sector unions here and has kept things as stable as he can, but he just wasn't ready for the big stage yet. Maybe 2020, who knows, but hopefully Trump will just obtain permanent ruler status before then and we won't have to worry about it.

Interesting analysis. To think that he too could have been saddled with hundreds of millions donor dollars all for naught.

Scott Walker. Republican governor of Wisconsin. He had a short run for president. Before the race started, pundits thought he was going to be a major contender.

Pros
>thick skin.
The leftist maniacs here did everything from occupy the Capitol to stalk his home and threaten his children he never backed down.
>good at cutting the fat
He has been very good at cutting our debt and deficit
>doesn't back down
He has gotten a lot of conservative reforms during his time as governor
Cons
>cuckservative to the core
>soft on crime and justice
>lazy eye
>unlikable unless you're a boring white male boomer with no personality
>bought and paid for by Koch in all things
>bad debator and poor orater

He got played hard by his political consultants who were probably Bush loyalists. They burned through his money and gave him shit advice like attacking Trump
>>
>>66586320
Trump forced all of the pale colored candidates (bland and boring even if they have great policies) out of the race by sucking up all of the attention in the race.

If we had all 50 states and territories vote in November of 2015 for the nomination, Trump would've swept the floor. Trump isn't a good long term candidate, because he's getting more and more exposed by every campaign that is trying to undermine him. Whether or not you believe Trump's rivals, you have to see that Trump is not a good long term candidate.

Funds ran low.

The good news for him is Christie committed political suicide and Walker will likely take over as head of the Republican Governors Association.
>>
>>66588696
He was one of the few that saw the problems Trump would cause.

He has above average political instincts.
>>
He wouldn't have even won Wisconsin if he was the nominee

He's really burned a lot of bridges here
>>
>>66586320

Pretty simple: He can't play with the big dogs. He is unphotogenic, bad with people, and horrible in off the cuff remarks. Even Jeb would rape him in debate.
