Because the birth of a nation revolutionized film and gave an honest depiction of the postwar south. Also, Kingsman: the Secret Service is redpilled, but most of /pol/ hates it for the westborough scene. If you want symbolism, I'd say go for Conan the Barbarian, directed by the only redpilled Jew to have ever existed (John Millius).

In all seriousness, Birth of a Nation's battle scenes still look incredible more than 100 years later. They use close-ups, wide-angle views, jump-cuts, and all sorts of "modern" techniques to follow the action.
Before BOAN, most films were basically stage-plays with a camera nearby.
