He gets in slightly compromised versions of all his major ideas [the wall, tax reform, relations with Russia, ISIS, fixing our trade deals], which his detractors view as hypocrisy while his supporters continue to hail him as Caesar and justify any compromise by calling him the "King of Deals" or some shit.
All in all, not paradise, but a much stronger America, and a very good precedent set for when he takes his second term, and is given far more leg room.
