Islam, as a system of society, is an extremely uncompetitive one. From economics, to technology, to business ethics, to human rights. Islamic countries have awful records in each segment. The only successful Islamic countries are the ones that leverage their natural resources, mainly oil. Those that don't have those resources to sell are extremely poor countries with atrocious human rights records and human development.

Nationalism don't fit with Islam. It's what muslims call "jahiliyah", the sharia system is all about the one kingdom of God which will at some point rule the whole world when Jesus comes back.
But it might fix feminism and the degenerecy way better than christianity seem to do. Young women in Europe are beginning to think it's cool to be a virgin again apparently. Young people also drink less and take less drugs than my generation (im 30) and this is due to the Islamic influence.
The "no bible verses apply anymore because we are modern" christians that is the most common type can not compete with that. And other christians are rejected by most christians and are considered fringe groups.
