We had a pretty good string of them over the last couple of years, and while the first few major ones spawned large happenings, the riots and such seemed to decrease in intensity with each new one to the point that almost everyone stopped pretending to care.
They would not only have to be a lot more concentrated and sustained over a longer period of time, but they would need to increase in severity as well so people wouldn't get bored with it.

There would have been already if people actually knew how frequently white people are beaten or killed by gangs of blacks for fun. Media at every level refuses to report anything related to race. So every July 4 when black people start beating and shooting white people across the country the go to explanation is the hot weather. Police also refuse to talk about race in any context, because if they do the whole world will come down upon them.
