If he had taken that money and put it into an S&P index fund he would be worth today, at the rate of increase because of the booming 80's at over 11%, $20 billion. If he had put it in an unmanaged index fund and never touched it, $20 billion and today he claims to be worth $10 billion so that's twice what he claims to be worth.
