I literally cannot choose one, they are all so horrible. Why is the American electorate so fucking stupid? Why can't we get a decent candidate?

Trump by default is the only choice because he isn't an establishment shill.

He's not perfect but he's the best one there.

He kinda is. He is willing yo use strong executive action to secure our nation.

The issue is that people are so used to Obongo using his power to fuck the American people black and blue that they can't even fathom the idea of a strong president being a force of good.

What even are his policies? He contradicts himself constantly. His only policies that he's consistent on are economic protectionism which is retarded and securing the borders which is fair enough. Aside from what, what does he actually think? No one knows.

Nothing outside the bounds of the Constitution or laws and he is talking about kicking quite a bit of power back to the State level no that anyone ever talks about that. Immigration, diplomacy, trade negotiation, defence? Those are areas the Executive is supposed to be strong in. It's not Authoritarian, it's American.

Trump is a moderate that will usher in a term of bipartisan cooperation through mutual hatred.

Cruz isn't actually religious. He holds no real values to heart. He's the kind of guy that would suck black dick in an alley way if it got him a senate seat.

Trump is the only real choice by virtue of being un-owned and un-ownable by the establishment. He could say he supports partial birth abortion 100% and still be the best candidate to actually hold American interests at heart.

Trump/Webb 2016 would be a magical time in American history.

That hatchetjob. Border security is not Authoritarian. Forcing a corrupt and dirty dealing trade partner to play more fairly is not Authoritarian.

Sandniggers are not American. Illegals are not American. Trump is eliminating many government agencies which means more freedom for Americans.

Okay I did not think through "authoritarian" that much before saying it. I'll look into it and think about it some more. He is still utterly unqualified and stupid economically.
And I agree one of the most basic functions of government is keeping a border secure.

Do you not understand what the president really does? What foreign policy is and how it works? People think if you don't duck your head and lay low as a senator for 20 years you have no idea what you're doing
>>

>stupid economically
>worth 10 billion USD
>wants to end corrupt trade deficits worth trillions of dollars
>wants to lower corporate taxes and impose tarrifs on imports from overseas manufacturing centers to incentivize business to stay in the U.S.

Do you get your news from Colbert?
>>
>>66462753
>He is still utterly unqualified and stupid economically.

He has spent decades dealing with international politics and negotiations with world leaders. He has had to deal with foreign legal systems. He has had to deal with and around international conflict. He has built a multi billion dollar business empire.

How is he unqualified for the job?
>>
>>66463094
>>66463201
Being rich or owning a business doesn't mean anything in terms of economic policy. He consistently opposes free trade and wants protectionism, which no one on either side of the aisle thinks is a good idea when you talk to actual economists.

Also, where is the evidence that he is some successful business/legal genius? As we all know he inherited a ton of money and he has a bunch of failed businesses, some of which were scams like Trump University.
>>
>>66462753
>utterly unqualified
How? Why?

>stupid economically
His economic policy can be described as "force jobs and money to come back to America by closing loopholes and enacting tariffs against American companies moving away from America" and to "never prefer foreign or temporary foreign workers over American ones", as well as "making good deals on an international scale and winning in trade again"
>>
>>66463094
>Do you get your news from Colbert?

To be fair, Colbert's election coverage has been hilarious. I bet he is kicking himself for missing covering the important issue of Donald's Penis.
>>
>>66463426
Ordinary Americans will be better of with free trade because everything gets cheaper and our money can buy more. If you artificially prop up business who would fail otherwise, you're putting a bandaid on a problem when really the workers should just move to a business where they can compete.
Long-term, free trade is better economically for people and the economy as a whole, even if it means some people will be out of uncompetitive jobs and will have to find places where they can fairly compete with other workers.
>>
>>66463360
>He consistently opposes free trade and wants protectionism

His stance isn't protectionism precisely. He is all for free trade, provided the country in question has equally free markets and isn't pulling shit like manipulating their currency. U.S. having a totally open market for Chinese goods while the Chinese have the biggest protectionist scheme in the world going on is fucking retarded.
>>
>>66460867

So what happens after this election, when the GOP dies? Will the two parties be Democrat and super-Democrat?
>>
>>66463360
>He consistently opposes free trade and wants protectionism, which no one on either side of the aisle thinks is a good idea when you talk to actual economists.
Lol "actual economists". You clearly couldn't name a single one. Guess what? There is no such thing as free trade. China, India, Mexico, Japan, etc ... manipulate their currency to create unbalanced trading markets. Your so called "free trade" is controlled by foreign governments like China.

We currently have a trade deficit in the trillions of dollars per year. That is how much money we lose on trade. But I'm sure these "economists" would say that's a great thing for our country. Am I right?

Oh and let's not forget all of the bloated government agencies that Trump would eliminate. Agencies that have only existed since 1980 and are by no means essential.

Also:
>Trump university
>96% approval rating by students
>remaining 4% decide to sue because "lol why can't I buy instant wealth xDDD"

And let's not forget the countless American companies that are now setting up manufacturing bases abroad or are being bought out by foreign countries like China. Nevermind that New York just lost its status as the city with the most billionaires. Yep that award went to China.

But again, I'm sure all of this is a great thing for our economy. Economists would agree.
>>
>>66463637
Sorry but if a company can not compete without using foreign workers to undercut American wages, then it shouldn't exist.

If it's going to move away from America to save with cheaper labor, it does nothing beneficial for American interests.

Maybe I should also mention how Trump plans to end H1B visa abuse or how getting rid of illegals would save us $150 billion every year.

Another idea that all economists would agree is terrible for our country.
>>
>>66463637

If a -foreign company wants to compete with America or send it's trade goods here I have no problem with that. If an -American company- wants to -leave America- to use foreign labor and send goods back to America to make a bigger profit then fuckem.

>cheap goods from China are a good thing
Yes, but that is not the issue. They are scamming us and buying our companies.

>>
>>66464805
It does actually Tyrone. It's no surprise that since you pursued free trade the US has been de-industrialised, losing millions of jobs to third world countries that are never coming back, leading to spiralling crime and poverty, with the working class gutted, and now the middle class is feeling the pressure. China uses tariffs all the time and is booming.

free trade is what will equalize the wealth of the world. free trade is a globalist idea... something that, in theory, should help lift the third world out of crushing poverty. basically, it's a way to transfer wealth from consumer economies to producer economies until there is an equal distribution... at which point borders won't matter.
