Keep going down this road and soon it will be de facto mandatory for an American adult to spend the first 30 years of their life in the academic system.
Fucking hell, people are overeducated as is, "educated" used lightly of course. People are being insulated from adulthood in their nice little school bubble for way too long. There's a reason nobody gets married or has children until their 30s anymore. Most people don't even feel the first sting of real personal responsibility until around 25. The idea of your average 18-22 year old having a family that they provide for is downright laughable since most of them are still mentally and behaviorally children.
Fix high school and early education so that by the time you're 18 you're an actual adult who is ready for adult responsibilities and higher education is a choice (that relatively few should be qualified to make).

Have you ever wondered how they rank universities?
If you look into it, you find that they are ranked by things like how big their budgets are and how often their published works are quoted in other works etc.
This is why Anglo universities (and especially American universities) always rank high in these lists.
American universities have much bigger budgets due to all of the rich kids paying $200k a pop to study there.
They also quote eachother's articles much more due to their cultural proximity.
Does this list mean that the people that study there are better educated?
Absolutely not, for example Harvard has gone full SJW with diversity classes and what have you. Worthless education.
