The pesticide, atrazine, has been shown to cause homosexual behavior in frogs.

If it turned out that there was a per-capita increase in the amount of people either 1.) born with gender-impacting birth defects 2.) identifying as non-heterosexual or 3.) non-native gender-identifying as a direct result of mass popular exposure to pesticides, plastics, pollutants, and food additives, which do you think would be the most likely course of action taken by the existing power structure?

1.) Admit to what's happening and massively overhaul production methods and processes, leading to significant cuts in profit and potential lawsuits.

2.) Use the various media to push blanket acceptance rhetoric of all such persons to give the impression that it is a social matter rather than a medical one, so that the appearance of more individuals with the courage to "come out" masks the literal per-capita increase of such persons, leaving the current paradigm in-tact and avoiding accountability for what is, in reality, a global health concern.

Thoughts?

>We speak with scientist Tyrone Hayes of the University of California, Berkeley, who discovered a widely used herbicide may have harmful effects on the endocrine system. But when he tried to publish the results, the chemical’s manufacturer launched a campaign to discredit his work. Hayes was first hired in 1997 by a company, which later became agribusiness giant Syngenta, to study their product, atrazine, a pesticide that is applied to more than half the corn crops in the United States, and widely used on golf courses and Christmas tree farms. When Hayes found results Syngenta did not expect — that atrazine causes sexual abnormalities in frogs, and could cause the same problems for humans — it refused to allow him to publish his findings.

BPA is also an endocrine disruptor and xenoestrogen.

There was a good episode of Frontline about this.

>[So you got a sort of feminization of male fish. Is that a big, alarming finding?]

>Yes. It's something that people have been recognizing for a number of years. ...

>[What kind of chemical compounds were you associating with the intersex?]

>When we first discovered the intersex, we went into the literature and looked at what are the things that have been reported to cause that in other fish species. And estrogen -- natural estrogen, as well as the synthetic estrogens that are used, for instance, in birth control pills and estrogen replacement, are two primary ones. But then there's a whole group of compounds that can be what we call estrogen mimics. In other words, because of their structure, they can act like estrogen, and those include some of the pesticides, herbicides, things like nonylphenol.

The birth control that Planned Parenthood has sold to basically every woman in America (you don't even have to use for safe sex! It'll help your acne, give it to 14 year old girls!) is being flushed down the toilet and is literally mutating fish into intersex freaks of nature.

If/when this change becomes noticeable at the mammalian level (if it isn't already), I think we'll all HAVE to agree there is a very strong correlation between exposure to these chemicals and homosexual/trans behavior.

Sad thing is most of the time the majority of /pol/ can't suck enough Monsanto dick to be satisfied. It's pretty odd but I guess it's a reactionary response to liberals not liking Monsanto.

Oh lawd. Well no matter, we shouldn't judge things based on that anyways. If his research is solid and there's actually evidence, who cares he looks like a hippie Rastafarian?

awesome dubs,man

anyways, issues with chemicals leaching into our bodies has been known for almost a century. it's a fact of tech and we're never going to totally eliminate it: we have to manage it.

if the juden were trying to cut down on us goy, they'd do it something targeted a la Helix season 2

Syngenta and Monsanto are scummy as fuck. The more I read about this, the craizer it gets.

Herbicides are a petrochemical product like the plastics that fill our world.

Why blow the whistle on one thing when we fucking freebase endocrine damaging shit daily?
