He's popular on Reddit so we on /pol/ dislike him.

Democratic Socialist.

In the USA, he is considered to be Far Left.
For European standards, he would be only Central Left, as tax-financed education and healthcare is the consensus here.

He's not Trump, The God Emperor.

He's an anti-white globalist who would destroy the US if it would relieve an ounce of the white guilt he's accrued from a lifetime of never working a hard day in his life.

His policies aren't practical and require everyone to pitch in.

Sanders is, in the US sphere, far left, though as the German said early hes not far left outside of the US.

Sanders positions favor workers rights and follow a similar theme from socialist rhetoric that the working class are the crux of the economy and should be treated as such.

He is a globalist, foreign policy hawks in the US would oppose his stances more than likely. However he is also in support of reigning in the US military endeavors which many think is a very good foreign policy move.

Sanders biggest pull for me is his consistent voting record and his being one of the most effective members of congress having a record of being able to garner bipartisan support for legislation due to being an independent.

He is a "Democratic Socialist," though his views are closer to those of a "Social Democrat."

He's a senator for the state of Vermont, where he was both a mayor on the independent ticket, and is a senator as an independent. He is now running for President of the United States with the Democratic Party, since that party's views align closer to his than that of the Republican Party.

He has been a firm believer and advocate for civil rights of all kinds during his lifetime,

His main platforms, which he has held for several years now, mainly revolve around addressing the ever-increasing wealth gap in America. He often refers to the "top 1%," which data shows has a vast percentage of the country's wealth. He wants to increase taxes on the rich, close tax loopholes that benefit the rich, re-install the Glass-Steagall act, and put down a speculation tax on stock transactions in order to both increase tax revenue and deter people from making large amounts of stock transactions if the results would be risky and possibly lead to economic stability if they don't succeed.

With these tax reforms, he wants to make public colleges and universities tuition free, cutting back the debt that people are falling into as a result of the ever-increasing rates of tuition, as well as allow anyone who wants a chance at higher education to be able to have it. He also wants universal healthcare, which would come from a tax rate that effects most people very little, and would be offset by the amount of money that people are spending on private healthcare effectively planning to save most American people money.

He also means to create jobs rebuilding the country's crumbling infrastructure.

He is also against our role in conflicts in the middle east, wanting the countries in that area to be leading the effort with America taking on a more supporting role.

he wants to undisguise it

You guys are a consumer economy, not a manufacturing one. Most of the propositions would do nothing but harm your economy now. Putting them in place before manufacturing effectively died would be the only viable way of starting programs like that.

Manufacturing would never come back to america with him in power, he's too kind. Staying out of the middle east means countries like Saudis can fuck with oil to punish countries originally america hated that and was a big factor in Iraq and iran.

His kindness would bankrupt your country on a political level, but at least you would feel good about yourselves while on a sinking ship.

>a consumer economy, not a manufacturing one
We used to be both. There are still a lot of people around, especially baby boomers, that remember it. It worked before, and it could very well work again.

You also seem to be making a lot of assumptions about his "kindness." He's the sort that wants everyone to be doing well, but isn't afraid to speak out and hammer away at his strongly-held policies.

And "bankrupting the country on a political level?" The politics are already in a terrible position due to the money that flows into it. He means to change that so that politicians can't be so easily controlled by interests outside of the people that they are supposed to be representing.

I normally refrain from calling people out on being a leaf, but in this case, you really don't know the politics of the country that is being discussed.

His name is Bernard Gutman and he is a product of the 60s - spent time in Israel on a kibbutz(p?) which is like a communal farming situation, where he doubled down on his jewry.

Didn't have an actual job until he was near 40. Was shit for the Veterans Administration, gutting bills. Speaking of which some love to tout how many things hes brought in front on the Senate but only 3 were passed, and two of those were to rename Post Offices.

He or his team do not understand economics. Free shit, really - increased taxes, college degrees become even more worthless when everyone has them. Just the idea of voting for this slimey kike filth is the antithesis of what America is. That is, hard work will lead to prosperity. He's just going to take from [increased] taxes to "elevate" losers.
