They have to go back. Being illegal IS, in itself, illegal. It is not law-abiding. You can't just choose laws you want to abide to and consider yourself law-abiding.
If you have stolen someone's identity or forged papers just to get in, that's illegal, even if everything else you do abides by the law.
And it's really impossible to make sure all illegals pay their fair share of taxes because some may not have the papers, SS#, etc. They may pay into some things like sales tax, but the more important ones they don't pay. And since they're pretending to be legal and want access to benefits only meant for citizens, legal residents, and other special cases, illegals are getting more for what they contribute.
Some are paid under the table, because not doing so will increase the chances of them getting caught and deported. And because they get paid in cash, it's difficult to track if you're paying taxes. So you'll have a significant amount that will evade paying taxes (federal, state, etc.) just to evade "La Migra".
And jobs taken by illegals can either be automated or be given to a citizen/legal resident/etc. that needs it and will actually contribute more than they take in.
There really is no upside to having illegals, except for Democrats to have people to vote for them and use them as a tool to get nefarious bills passed that undermine Americans. Getting more illegals will put a downward pressure on wages, because illegals are willing to work for cheap (and under the table so they won't get taxed and found out).
