As someone who was raised by a single mother on benefits, it is the one single thing I would change in this country. There shouldn't be such thing as a single mother, it's not fair on their sons.
Over here, women literally only have children for benefits. They don't care how their children turn out, once they hit a certain age, the benefits stop and they kick you out on the streets.
