Nihilism is not an opinion, it's just acknowledgement of the truth that nothing really matters. You can take this negatively or positively, but it really doesn't matter.
Personally, I don't see why anyone would take it negatively. It's very freeing to realize that there's no wrong way to live. When you know that the value you place on anything is arbitrary you can learn to enjoy things you used to categorize as "bad". For example, work used to be a drag, but now I know it's up me to whether or not something is enjoyable; I just have to put in the effort.
If you're not willing to put in the effort to make life "good", then just kill yourself.
