What is "alt-right"?
I see this term cropping up all over the place and can't seem to find a good definition for the term.
I ask because the Alternative Right used to be the "unmentionables": white supremicists, neo nazi's, fascists, etc.
But it doesnt seem to mean that anymore from what I've read

It's a coalition of far right folk who are unanimously against multiculturalism, israel, mass non-white immigration, but are split on other issues, such as abortion. They'll be voting for Trump, but only because he's pushing the overton window their way and building a wall.

That's just one aspect though.
Economically they tend to be protectionist. Less likely to be bible-thumpers, though not necessarily anti-Christian either. As you said, more open to rational racism/political incorrectness. Neutral/hostile toward Israel. Open to Russian friendship.
