You seem to think that George Carlin and Bill Hicks have painted a totally accurate picture of what conservatives believe, with all their mindless warmongering and Pavlovian response to abortion and painful erections for multi-national corporations. Not to mention their desire to see people "dying in the street."
Being conservative really means valuing what's beneficial for your family, your neighborhood, your community and your country, in that order. In this way, Trump is more conservative than any other candidate that values their ideology or their party over what will make America work best.
I hate abortion and would like to see it reduced to it's smallest possible level. Maybe the smallest level possible in 2016 is at "rape, incest and health." Considering that the other side is screaming for free abortion on demand up to the day of birth and acts like abortion is a sacred rite into womanhood, Trump's position is pretty conservative.
The way I see it, "Make America Great Again," means, "Make America a Great Place to Live Again." Trump is talking about things that will really improve our quality of life, not proving his Burke and Buckley bona fides.
And, anyway, this isn't a conservative board.
