This notion of "HURR DURR WHITES ARE GOING TO STAY BELOW REPLACEMENT RATE FOREVER AND EVENTUALLY GO EXTINCT!" is complete bullshit. On the bullshit graph I made, population decline works like the red line and levels off. It doesn't keep going down further and further until it hits zero. That's just dumb. Basically, we are above our happy equilibrium, and so the population naturally goes down until it will stabilize at said equilibrium, at which point birth rates will normalize.
So what's the solution? JUST LET IF FUCKING HAPPEN. If a nation with 100 million people isn't breeding enough, then maybe its because that nation doesn't need 100 million people. Maybe the birth rates will normalize at 50 million, or whatever number the equilibrium happens to be.
Do you know what's not the solution? Importing tons of immigrants who just keep the population artificially higher than it should be, thus never allowing the population to reach equilibrium while at the same time ruining the native culture and ethnicity

I can see how a lot of people think it is Liberal movie, however I found the narrative to be critical of the political and social establishment as a whole.
It represents the collapse of civilization from the results of people being generally foolish. It implied that we, as a race, lost the privilege of existence because of our stupidity, caging the whole race in the prison of inevitable extinction.
The film gives us so much and leaves us with so little. Depending on your faith in humanity, you could imagine that the gift of fertility was once again bestowed on the world, or that girl's baby would go on to be the last man to die.
