I'm not denying that different populations have different IQ's, but these IQ maps popping up on /pol/ are meme maps. Lynn and Vanhanen is some of the worst. They didn't even use IQ tests for 104 nations and just guessed at them using IQ's from surrounding nations.
Then among the IQ tests actually done, there was no consistency at all. In some countries they used children, some teenagers, some adults. And then they used a few dozen people's scores to estimate the national IQ.
They've just painted a target around an arrow already shot.
Finally, IQ doesn't actually measure intelligence, the Flynn Effect is real. Things like nutrition, child hood experience and education are huge factors into IQ results. A good example where this is seen is where East and West Germany were scoring 5-15 point differences. Look it up. It's a test used to determine mental retardation.

First of all, IQ does measure intelligence. That's what the test is designed to do.
I assume what you're struggling to poorly convey is the point that intelligence isn't genetic, and you failed to do that. The existence of environmental factors doesn't disprove the existence of a genetic component.
To put it in terms you can understand, what you've said is this: "Cake mix isn't for baking cakes. Flour is in cake mix, look it up." But the existence of flour in cake mix doesn't mean there's no sugar. Sugar is important and it is in cake mix. Do you understand?
