What does Trump want to do with undocumented workers living here without breaking any laws?
One of my coworkers has lived in America for over 20 years, she came over here with her parents when she was 8 months old, she knows more English than Spanish, she learned to walk in this country, she owns an apartment and pays rent and taxes like anyone else, but as it stands there is really no way for her to become a citizen without a ridiculous amount of work going into it, and even then some of the steps are very hard to get to, even getting a work visa can take a ridiculous amount of time and luck.

We've had cases like this.
When the court hears their testimony it exams their time here and sees if they've accepted the responsibilities of being an American and have lived a decent life. If so it sets them for citizenship, if not then you have to go back.
Most people don't even know it's a thing because MUH VOTING BLOC so they get coddled and told ICE is going to kill them. Because of this legit cases like that are rare and the only times you see it mentioned are in cases where they're in the court because they've committed some other crime. You can thank the current air of emotions over logic for people not knowing this.
