I was watching this yesterday and wondered, are we possibly on the wrong side of history?
Now, I'm a diehard Trump supporter. But stealing from the rich to feed the poor is the morally just thing to do.
You have these people who are thrown into poverty by a monarchy, and someone who steals from the elite to feed the hungry and downtrotten.

Imagine a situation where you worked your ass off to get to a position where you can live comfortably

Robin Hood didn't really steal from the "rich". He returned the over taxed their money. The stories come from the time of Bad King John, who literally taxed people into starvation. Rob Hood was a aristocrat who had his land confiscated by John and entered into armed revolt. Remember the Barons stood up against John and we got the Magna Carta which tried to place limits on government action.

But in an actual, rational situation or rather an actual nation never looks at individuals, but groups of different types of individuals based on say, in this case economic standards.
So in the rich/upper class, there are both spoiled entitled brats as well as people who worked their way up to the top.
Generalizing a whole group of individuals based on a few of them isn't right. Their economic standards doesn't always go hand in hand with what they might be like as a person, or how hard they worked

Yup. It was right because the poor had no ways to do anything else about it where nowadays there are multiple ways to get help whether it be Churches, Charity, Volunteer work for food exchange etc. Nowadays there are almost endless ways to get almost everything. Robin Hood was always one of my favorite stories growing up and for a while I was baffled at why we couldn't do that nowadays, but as I grew up and expanded my ways of thinking and schooling I figured it out (hope that doesn't come out with an offensive connotation, wasn't meant to) coming to /pol/ and asking people in general is a good step towards critical thinking and problem solving BUT one must try to figure these things out themselves as well.
