Reminder that dirty anglo slags crave the BSC. The dirty tramps fall weak at the knees when they see an alpha red beared Scotsman swinging his manly highland phalus. They know, in that moment of penetration by an alpha Scotsman, that an English beta male could never satisfy them in this way.

Why doesn't the Queen simply order the UK out of the EU?
>She stays out of politics
This affects her own sovereignty. It's not just politics. Doesn't she care?
>She can't
No one has authority to take away her power, she only chooses to not use it. Again, why?
>She wants to be in the EU
Why?

we have hoards of football fans readying for the summer. they may look like drunk thugs but once they are activated they will move in on most major french cities. we already have drunk chavs on places like ibiza and mallorca as well as the army of old people in places like benidorm
europe is ours
>>63713018
While yes the Queen does have powers, the reason she doesn't use them that it would be seen as an abuse of power/against democracy and would only help the republicans.
>first time leave has been in the lead
I'm pretty sure leave has been in the lead since summer
>>63713186
eh merde
well, i'd better take the oath of allegiance already
>>63713369
Does she even have much power any more? If she went against something the government wanted to put through I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them try to take away that power like they are trying to do with the House of Lords.
>>63713369
The republican movement is that powerful?
How could they seize power anyway? Civil war?

>always thinking by force
Just get a majority of MPs in the House and vote a law that says:
1. The Queen is stripped of all her powers and titles.
2. Her descendants can't inherit these powers and titles.
3. The form of government is a republic.
And there goes your monarchy.
Source: we did it about 3 or 4 times in 100 years.
>>63713186
Paris might have witnessed the Bataclan shooting, but the worst atrocity most European cities have hosted is the British stag party
>>63713761
>The republican movement is that powerful?
Not really, but interfering in a big public decision like the EU referendum would sway public opinion in favor of the republicans.
As for actually abolishing the monarchy it would just be done through parliament, there's already a few republican MP's. Pretty sure Jeremy Corbyn is one of them.
>>63714643
Actually yes, as the next national election is the EU elections in 2019, which they'll win by a landslide if we vote to stay.
>>63714344
>>63714643
Actually if we lose the EU referendum a similar thing that happened in Scotland with the SNP will happen in England.
It might even be enough to ruin the conservative party.
>>63714476
The queen can dissolve parliament at any moment
Also, everyone in the army has pledged allegiance to the crown
However, the queen is a nice lady and I'm sure if there was a referendum and it was a republican majority she would abdicate and dissolve the monarchy.
>>63714476
That's like saying Congress can vote in Obama for a 3rd term. No, it isn't possible.
>>63714928
But that's also why the tories want the EU referendum as soon as possible. They want YEARS to recover from this. It's a debacle as far as they are concerned.
>>63714788
Monarchy can only be abolished if the monarch agrees to it.
>>63715005
USA have a constitution, UK does not. You'd have to amend your constitution to vote such a law.
The royal family should all be corgis.
They'd cost less and it would be much less ridiculous to adore and admire them without expecting them to actually do anything.
They'd still be part of important ceremonies but there'd no longer be any shred of an illusion that they had any influence.
Also, corgis cannot breed with Jews.

Basically if the queen decides to rule then it causes a crisis and nobody knows.
The armed forces have established that they are loyal to the Queen above all else. So depending on the situation and the Queen's orders, parliament might stage an uncontested coup, or the military would take control.
Scary to think about where power truly lies. Of course you kind of have the whole international community to deal with.
The truth is Monarchy is ridiculously stable and this just doesn't happen. The Queen is there not to rule, but to make sure nobody else can.
>>63716509
While I'm a terrible Monarchist, I'm not sure we'll see a monarch with the same support Elizabeth II has for a while. So unless she decides to do something mad for her 90th birthday, I imagine you're safe in this area.
